I think we need to start another petition to get the bankwest logo reduced. That logo has single handedly brought down the beauty of this great jumper.

i think it's just the way it is these days - gone are the days where the sponsor logo was secondary to the beauty of the jumper.

Plus, the cuts of the jumpers are becoming more 'singlet' than 'jumper'. they'll probably end up being skin-tight tubes that you wear over your torso - no sleeves, shoulders, collars or anything. just enough fabric to fit the sponsor logo on

The retail versions will likely not be as bad. The pic of Gaff a few posts up, is of him wearing a retail. The player issues are very narrow across the chest, pushing the logos together.

It is from the clubs perspective but the for us as fans we value tradition, identity and success. The jumpers a symbol that reflects these values therefore its very important its done correctly.

for us fans our jumper is as sacred as the baggy green but unfortuantley footy clubs have become money making corporations.
