A few surprises here, like Geelong having a lousy three elite players & Poort Paer a pitiful two. Meanwhile Hawthorn is miles ahead of the rest of league, as you'd expect. Also Rioli = elite, Gutslop = NOT.

That was because Bartel was out for most of the year with a knee injury. Apart from that hiccup though it seems clear that the experts deem Bartel to be a better player than both Mitchell and Hodge, fitness permitting of course.
