That's right him.
(I get Essendon players whose name starts with H mixed up)
Being a low down, marriage wrecking, drug taking women beater is clearly no impediment to a career in the sporting media but Carey's moral indiscretions were not directly related to football. The football media don't have any moral integrity when it comes to who they hire, they gave Wayne Carey a job.

A retired AFL player landing a job in the sports media does not compare with a current AFL player serving a ban for doping working in the AFL media. Carey has AFL media accreditation and can interview players on the field and in the rooms. Players currently serving a ban for doping can not get AFL media accreditation.

I saw Carey at Hamilton in Victoria and nodded to him. He stoped and had a chat with me, for about 10 minutes, as he saw my Port Badge.Being a low down, marriage wrecking, drug taking women beater is clearly no impediment to a career in the sporting media but Carey's moral indiscretions were not directly related to football.

I was asking around last year if anyone had a copy of that. Would love it posted here.I wasn't aware of the Carl Amon story spending his early life in a wheel chair. Just watched a segment on him on fox footy prior to AFL tonight. What a great story.
Listening to Tex and Roo talking this am, the media also don't care if their radio announcers are intelligible or not.The football media don't have any moral integrity when it comes to who they hire, they gave Wayne Carey a job.
