Training Preseason 15/16 - TTHD

I can't wait to see Duggan really develop this year hoping he won't have the dreaded second year blues. I don't know if Nelson will he able to break back into the side with Emac and Brown back but I am looking forward to his continued development. If Lamb can get some games this year I would say that 2015 was a great draft for us.

Feels like there's a lot of pressure on Duggan this year, excited to see how he goes but realistically he's pretty much the same age as this years first year players. I hope he doesn't get ridiculed if he takes a bit more time to develop.

Why does this preseason feel the longest in living memory?

Was it the subway talk?

The crappy social media releases from the club?

The fact that we lost the G.F?

Or, because our best 22 are pretty much locks, our coach isn't under pressure so the headlines are as vanilla as Rick Ardon.

"Jack Redden competing at pace was a sight for sore eyes, as was Nic Naitanui’s form throughout the training block

Both put in solid performances throughout the 90-minute session and appear ready to face the Suns if called upon.

The contest of the morning came from an unlikely pair – assistant coaches Adam Selwood and Brady Rawlings.

Senior coach Adam Simpson pitted his understudies against each other in a rucking role, challenging the coaches to direct the ball to their assigned team to see who could kick a goal in heavy traffic.

Rawlings got the better of Selwood in the tussle, tapping the ball to Elliot Yeo who broke free of the group and kicked a laser between the tall posts from 50m"

Wonder if Selwood chased

That is the crappiest training update I have ever read. Who gives a fly fats rats about a birthday set shot or the coaches rucking each other . I would rather read the latest subway deal .. I hate subway . do they even butter their rolls

Clearly Rawlings will be playing lead ruck this season, Naitanui will be his relief.

I liked the article:confused:

Good to see Redden back and Nic Nat training strongly. Need to put in a good performance so we can start building a little more confidence after the Adelaide thrashing.

"Duggan & Nelson are both more advanced than the other second year players, but there are no easy spots. It depends on a lot of things." -AS

PS Just saw Gaff on the UWA campus (looks like a student). Didn't have the guts to get a selfie sorry. He was also walking away from Subway so not sure what that means.

If he wasnt smiling then he's deffo on the way out the door next year.
Nah, they friggin ****ed his order and put his 6-inch ham on a Honey Oat (and no, that's not a euphemism). I wouldn't be smiling either.

I heard that he ordered a meatball with extra avo. Looks like another JWM coming up in 2016

Heard you all don't know shit. Gaff was facing west and walking forcefully. That ugly little uber ball finding sonofabitch is staying with us forever!

If only he was as tall, athletic and the magnificent colour of dark chocolate that the second coming of christ formely known as nic naitanui is. Then he'd be beautiful too.

So Simpson said in an article i read he was the only coach who didnt like the 10m rule change... is it going to hurt our game plan?
