If you want a comedy devoid of real life there's probably some mainland Chinese films for you.

Pretty sure it was aimed at people like me, old enough to know the originals and young enough to enjoy a new one. I'm only 30.

It looks horrible. A cash grab which hopefully doesn't grab much.

Just seems like her regular schtik that got her on SNL.

That's the problem. SNL has fallen so far from grace it's not funny.

It has nothing to do with sex, GB had the right actors and production team at the right time.

This movie seems like the GB franchise with modern day SNL humour shoe horned in, which will take you out of the moment.

I reckon you're right about people and kids who will see it for the first time and get something out of it, but this will be so inferior to the originals, they would have been better served borrowing as little as possible from them.

That would be nice. It's how Hollywood has worked for a while though. I don't remember this type of backlash with Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Star Wars, Ninja Turtles, Fantastic Four, Mad Max, Conan the Barbarian, Total Recall etc. Maybe a little bit from Transformers but they keep making them.

Starship Troopers - Well the original movie really didn't stick to the book so this I think will just be a proper make of it, loved the first one though.

The Neverending Story - Can see this working if done right, good director would help.

American Psycho - Really? Already?

Highlander - Can understand, sort of.

Scarface - Remake of a remake. Last one still stands up.

Jumanji - No. This is not necessary.

The Toxic Avenger - Netflix tv show please.

Conan - Looking forward to this for a while now. Sequel anyway.

The Mummy - Cast looking good and so is the premise for the series.
