While he is somewhat delusional in regards to this, there is some merit I think he's just either being taken out of context or not saying what he means to say.

Each time I saw him play in Houston there was a heck of a lot of possessions where Dwight would be useless on offence until the clock was running down or Harden couldn't do anything useful with the ball. He was then put in tough positions to make plays.

I have never understood some of his logic though at all. Never has embraced being a true roll man in the pick and roll and seems to think he's got Shaq like ability on the block. 2009 was probably the only year where he ever worried teams on the block. The NBA has gone completely away from post up possessions regularly in games and Dwight refuses to accept that. He could get a ton of easy buckets rolling to the basket, but he's too delusional.

They didn't look for him as much last season that's for sure. At the same time he was terrible when he did get the ball in the post so I'm not surprised they stopped using him. I loved his first two years with us and thought he was good on both ends but limited by his body somewhat. Last season the same old immature Dwert came out, as soon as things went bad he was first sulking about touches and not working enough for the team on both ends, instead of acting like the veteran star of the team like he was and trying to turn things around by leading by example.

Well Duncan has retired and it's doubtful Aldridge can successfully fill the void that TD has left. Even in the unlikely event that LaMarcus does adequately fill Duncan's vital role in the team both Parker and Ginobili are just about done along with any chip aspirations the Spurs may have had. I don't think Aldridge and Leonard is going to enough to win a chip they need a third star player in his prime to be genuine contenders in the foreseeable future hence why David West bounced out of there as quick as he could.

So now that OKC no longer has a 2 superstar duo, whether non Clipper fans (or Clipper haters) like it or not LAC appears to be the only real team that could challenge GSW in the Western Conference.

Not really. Duncan's influence was waning. They picked up Pau Gasol. They will win 60+ again.

Dunno about 60+, the West was a battlefield this season and i fancy the likes of Portland and Memphis to make some strides in the win column

But I'd definitely have them down for 55+

Or it could be because Bass has history with Doc from his Boston days.

The simplest explanation is often the correct one.
