The Collingwood board will be such a fun place to be when they hand him over with salary relief for a fourth rounder.

rocket said picks or players.
cloke to dogs for their first...we pay some of his $$
witts, oxley and dogs first for jom.
Are we certain that's going to happen? We'd have to clear someone out to make room for him. Unless he counts as one of the three drafted players?we have picks beyond that to elevate R.Smith with?

So we could draft two and then upgrade Smith and be done? I reckon it will come down to the picks we have then, if we get three decently high picks to use I can't see us using one on a rookie upgrade that can wait a year.Yes rookie upgrades count, but I expect him to stay as third year rookie

Why is everyone so convinced it will happen then? Can't think of a reason to do it, and many not too.Yep and Roake can be upgraded straight away to play if needed next year anyway with Wallis and Redpath on long term injury list.

Really we'd just be swapping a rookie pick for a late main list pick. Either way we have Roarke, just depends what spot on the list he takes up.Depends on our picks and what we think we could get. If say our 2nd pick is a 4th rd - smith may be a far superior option than anyone left.
Christ...Especially when they think this;![]()
That is spectacular.Especially when they think this;![]()
Because we have to delist him and redraft himWhy is everyone so convinced it will happen then? Can't think of a reason to do it, and many not too.
Doesn't he have another year on the rookie list?Because we have to delist him and redraft him

Isn't Dodo and the Dopers going to threaten every club with the PSD with out of contract players? That's his scumbag modus operandi. Just tries to be
the big tough guy at trade time when everyone knows he is just a campaigner of a bloke.
If Dodo goes down this track. Then they won't be able to get deals done in upcoming years. Clubs have long memories of shit blokes. They would be better off just giving fair deals for players off contract.
**** me they're delusional
Doesn't he have another year on the rookie list?
I believe this is his last year as a rookie since he was drafted in 2013. You can only be on a rookie list for 3 years before they have to re draft youWhat......no he just stays on as third year rookie
