I could be wrong but something big I believe is happening behind close doors.

- Bucks come out in one of the most honest interviews ever and says 2017 it's finals or all over for him.

- We then have Cloke today ask to be traded and with Swans retirement we have a bit of cash spare

We all would agree that as good as Moore will be with only white and Cox as Kf to help we will struggle to impact the score board next year.

Bucks would not come out and throw his career on the line unless something was being hatched.

I could be wrong but just my thoughts
What do you think is being planned?

I would love tim membrey. Just looks like a sick campaigner
Also can play footy, know blokes that have played on him at NEAFL level, said he just doesn't stop running

Yeah that's what I mean, let's face the facts, he may have been injured, but did he ever threaten to take a spot in our best team? I just don't like the way he plays, I think we need to move him on...
Absolutely. Was looking the goods before he did his shoulder last year.

Okay if you say so, I just think he doesn't fit.... Just my opinion, I could be wrong, I'm not saying I am right
Broomhead is skilful but he's also slow, short and injury prone. I tend to agree with you. Prefer Aish and his recent form. Reckon he'll be moved on.

Not to sure, I'm guessing making a play at another KPF this off season. I mean why would Bucks put his career on the line if we where planning on making a play for a key forward next year, which may be to late for him

Yeah I agree... If we want to challenge for a flag we need a Key forward... Darcy is a gun, but we need more than just him.... Who would it be though?

Adams do something to you? Because that's all you ever post about.
Heath is still ticked off that the guy we traded in for him has turned out so good and a potential future captain. Something never said of him. Heath really should be concentrating on who to blame next, when his opponents marks it, uncontested, inside their D50.

Broomhead is not slow, and he's listed at 184cm, so isn't short either. Have you ever really watched him?

Correct 1 year! Which happens to be the last year of his contract! He was consistently playing good football for Malthouse for a number of years

Nope it was the first year of his new contract. But I wouldn't call it his career best year. 2011 when he smashed the contested marking record was his best year imo.

Yes I've watched him. I think he lacks speed. He has quick hands but he's a plodder over the grass. You get 184cm, a quick Google search gets me 182cm. Collingwood six footer or just below. Not sure that's enough for a midfielder these days. There are some big boys running around in the centre and the last thing we need is another player (e.g. Blair) who gets knocked off the ball too easily. I suppose you could play him in the forward line but at whose expense?

I like Aish his second half of the year was good, but Aish is slow compared to Broomhead, and Aish needs to work on his fitness does a beep test of 10.6, he should run with Sidebottom all summer

Yeah I didn't mean to suggest that Aish was quick, just that he's been on the park for most of the year and we've seen significant improvement in him. I wouldn't pick Broomhead ahead of him on recent form (not surprisingly). As mentioned earlier, 21 games since Rnd 7, 2013 ain't great. I suppose you could keep him for depth but would he be interested?

I don't see any merit in accepting less so somebody else can take on what's going to be a barely above average salary of $400k. In fact, I think it's a downright stupid approach given we have no salary cap issues and are light on in the key forward department already.

Its all about the salary cap. You combine the space Cloke & Swan leaving creates and you have an A grade footballer in their place. We can bank it for next year or chase this year, money talks and opens doors.

Cost benefit analysis.
Whats the cost of keeping him? not much
Whats the profit in trading him ? none.
