You mean like Shane Warne?

I mean like Jobe glorifying himself with the need to hold a press conference to announce he's playing on in 2017.

Why does Jobe feel the need to hold a press conference?
How many of his mates held a press conference to announce they would play on with the Dons in 2017?
How many of his mates held a press conference to announce a contract extension?
Of the two players that decided to either go to another club or retire, why didn't they hold a press conference?
Did Patty Ryder hold a press conference to announce he was leaving the Dons?

This, I just aren't emotionally ready to see the smug f**k raise the cup. I'm not religious but if there is a god out there please don't let this happen!

Agreed, to me the only thing worse than D/Hfield winning a flag would be Port winning one.

You certainly are getting very upset about something that you don't "couldn't give a f.ck" about.

Rotations? What point are you trying to make here?

I was interested in Jobe deciding to come back. I have no problem with any of them returning, they did the crime and did the time. I certainly have more empathy for the players than I do for the clowns that invited the injectors to experiment on their club ... and yes I understand the ins-and-outs of the individual's responsibility when it comes to what goes into one's body.

But you keep showing your high morals, and elevated position by screaming at the computer screen because the media announce Jobe's return, that's the spirit. :drunk:
Who got upset ? .....what's your definition of upset? ......i don't care what he does, that's just a statement of fact

They were suspended for a year, served the suspension and now you want what? Another pound of flesh?
Not suggesting that .....but you can't also erase history & the fact the club and players still believe they are the innocent, hard done by party

He's being portrayed by the Essendon supporting Mark Robinson as a hero returning to lead his troops yet again ..........fact is he's a drug cheat who will lose his Brownlow, and should not be celebrated as he is being

First year after he leaves ...
  • Every media award available
  • Coaches Award
  • Players Award
  • Brownlow
  • Premiership
  • Norm Smith (you know it will happen)
Yeah, that would be great.

I guess then every subsequent year would get worse. That would be the pinnacle

I take it that you don't like Jenkins?

Personally I think it is a good thing he is staying.

2012 - 11 games 11 goals 3 behinds, 61 hitouts
2013 - 17 games 24 goals 24 behinds, 61 hitouts
2014 - 20 games 40 goals 26 behinds, 55 hitouts
2015 - 21 games 46 goals 21 behinds, 79 hitouts
2016 - 24 games 62 goals 29 behinds, 135 hitouts

Want a GWS vs Sydney Grand Final with GWS victorious.

Covers the following:-

1) All Sydney final - screw the Vics

Ah yes, forgot to write that in my preferences. That's why Sydney is slightly preferable to Geelong.

Yeah, that would be great.
Indeed. It's great we've convinced some players to stay under the premise that we're destined for greatness, but it doesn't bode well when everyone who leaves us ends up more successful almost instantly.

The truth is he is probably very deserving of it all.

He was captain, he had a duty of care to the teenagers drafted to his club. he failed them badly. he also lied to ASADA, to his club members, the press until he was found guilty. he did not apologise for those lies either. He is the lowest common denominator.

I'm very disappointing in our clubs leaders and every other club for not speaking the truth about this drug cheat. its this very behavior that will allow someone else to pull the same shit.

The whole modern feminsm and social justice movement is a joke just like these reporters. Workplace inequality is a myth.

I heard a snippet while painting today that suggested '' the Essendon FC can now put this whole saga behind them and move on to a great future''

Well exfu**scuse me. What about an acknowledgement by the club they initiated the program and continued to lie cheat and bury the truth. Move on my *&^%# arse.

Im with you. He stretched this out waaaaaaaay longer than needed. If it takes you a year to work out if your committed, then the answer is YOUR NOT committed!

IMO he just wanted to be begged to return, and wants to play the victim, when the truth is he was a captain that failed to stand up and protect the rest of his players. He is as guilty a Hird and the management at Essendon.

He showed up in peak shape. Had already made up his mind but just wanted the attention.

Workplace inequality is a myth.

Not quite. it will always be around, its human nature. But there's just as much of it the other way. And now in our courts and our media, the sexism is rife toward men. Drug cheats like Jobe watson only make matters worse.

its our own ****ing fault for giving the w***ers who are happy to coast long term deals instead of pushing them out the door.

Did any of the media have the guts to ask when he was going to hand back his drug-fuelled brownlow?
