Can't believe the Cavs and the Indians are going to be champions and Browns are still going to stink badly

They plan on winning 6 games in 2019

Couldn't even get one of their precious 4th rounders for him.

Can't wait until this FO is gone

Nothing wrong with it, we need heaps of good talent in, not just a single elite talent.

Thank god the Indians and Cavaliers don't think like that. ;)

I agreed last year. But we've gotten the building blocks in, now we should be supplementing that with elite talent.

Shelton, Ogbah, Nassib, Kirksey and Holmes have all played well at times this year. But imagine how much better they'd look with an elite interior pass rusher. Or a fast 3 down OLB.

Or take the pressure off Haden with a quality CB/S. As opposed to playing nickel guys on the outside.

It's easy to criticise, but the front office are smart guys. There will be a time to swap from quantity to quality, and they'll do it.

FO guys are unqualified to be near football operations on a pee wee team let alone an NFL team.

Plenty of us know it, I guess the rest see what they want too.

If you are happy with 0-16 and being worse this year than last, god bless you.

I know fools when I see them and this FO is filled with them

I think, if they view the number 1 pick, as the best player available, they'll keep him, regardless of position.
Unfortunately he's an RB at this point. I wish it was an O-liner.
We will probably trade down to an elite interior player, or O-liner.
Which means we missed out on Wentz and an elite RB, meh.

Lol i can just see Crow searching for tweets that backup his opinion and then getting all giddy when he posts em.

We get your point mate. You dont have to keep sprouting the same shit day after day. FO this FO that. Move on.

Change doesn't happen over night. With the injuries we have, I'm surprised we can even stay within 3 of the Jets.

Sort of like the same old refrain about how the picks are "just developing" and it's "all part of an elaborate process" eh? ;)

Lord knows that shit is shoveled in here day afte day mate. :)

So, what negative spin can be found about the trade for Collins?
Depends on if what is being said is true imo.

1. You pay him what he's asking at the end of the year, then you've over paid. If you get him cheaper etc, then you could do worse.
2. If you drop him at the end of the year (when the rookie contract is over), you've given up a 2nd/3rd for that, I don't see the value.

I like Collins, good to see the ******s in the front office trade for a decent player rather than heading back to the draft for another round of fail.

Progress.

See, Chris, i knew you would come around. :thumbsu:

From my understanding of the rules (I could be wrong) if he goes at the end of the year we get the pick back.

what makes you think we will take Watson with 1? he seems to be sliding down most mock drafts possibly out of the first round!

After getting burnt on the Wentz deal the clamour for a franchise QB will be too great, so Sashi will pick the first available QB. I agree Watson has slid down and TBH I hope someone else comes through. I recall Wentz was pretty much unheard of 12 mths before being drafted as most of the hype was around Hackenberg.
My own preference is for us to trade down from 1st, pick up someone like Kizer or Rudolph later in the 1st round, use the Eagles #1 on one of the many RBs available in the draft. Use the rest of our picks on CBs and safeties while reserving a later pick on a speculative QB like Brady Gustafson (Wentz Jnr)
