2016 is done. Hawks and Saints take home the div. 1 & 2 flags.
While all the teams dress up for mad Monday, the rumour mill kicks into overdrive.
1st rumour is Swans coach Matt West is heading north up the Bruce highway and will coach the sea-eagles next season.

Certainly a great get for the Townsville club and competition.

Talking to a magpies player over the weekend who said they have signed ex saint nathan peters and in talks with 3 other saints. Magpies continue there recruiting from the saints after securing a number of there junior players last season.

Season 2017 shapes an even 1 at this stage. Bakers, magpies & saints look like improving with hawks similar to last year. Haven't heard much on the bulldogs or Whitsunday. Swans look like dropping off a bit with some key players rumoured to be Heading to the magpies and Townsville way With an ex coach.
