there has been a few tweaks at committee level the situation is retrievable and there is a lot of water to go under the bridge before the first game.

If Belmont want to be a better club then you might want to start respecting your club rooms. End of every year the place is a f&$@ing mess, gear left in the change rooms or just thrown out the side door, holes in walls and stinks like a mix of failure and urine.

Place hasn't changed for years and never will.

I see the Hann boys are the latest to go. The first committee meeting they had they voted in a new president. Belmont will be bottom 3 next year.

Belmont and Corio both borrowed money from the GDFL to pay outstanding player payments. Lucky they have the GDFL behind them.

I kno ppl at all the clubs. I dont dislike anyone more than the rest keep ur eyes open training is bak now all the recruits show themselves
 
The bottom 5 will be Alomost the same as this year just like will be Corio, east, west, winch, belmont in no order top 5 hill banno inver north and Thomson

I believe there was a hole left in the clubrooms for a couple of years which was a result of EBCC tipping oil on the tables and sliding in to the wall?




Alcohol on the ceiling from premiership celebrations which was never cleaned by EBCC.




I wouldn’t go throwing stones in glass house’s Matthew Long.

The first committee meeting for Belmont was a step in the right direction voting out the president.

I think the only real loss so far for Belmont would be Harrison, Mikali's talent is top end and he had to go to the GFL and test himself against the states best players. The Hann's are great blokes and have done a lot of good things at Belmont with their coaching, Al has never been the same since his ACL and Chuky struggles with his shoulder so probably a good thing for both party's to part ways and they are 2 less player payments to have to worry about.

Eugene is another to part ways but he has had 6 football clubs & 4 cricket clubs in 7 years so was never going to hang around too long.

The lions have good people in all their important positions now and they have already been very active in attracting new sponsors and more importantly keeping the current ones on board for 2017.

I'm sure belmont would enjoy themselves too if they ever won another premiership. won't happen this decade though. i fully agree with longyroos, belmont are a disgrace

Ahhhh the memories that place holds, if only the holes in the walls could talk. For your info the alcohol on the roof is called winners piss and the hole was filled not 24 hours later.

Tell someone to pick up the bloody buck hunter game, we are trying to find room for a larger trophy cabinet.

Hole in the wall was there for well over 2 years and when it was patched it was never painted.

The alcohol on the roof may well be winners piss but it was still left there for the footy club to clean because you grubs are to up yourself to get a sponge and clean it. The buck hunter stays just like your drink machine in footy season

Double standards when it comes to you boys hey?

Because they got a loan off the league?

Give me a spell GullsFC! The club has helped many of their players with employment over the years and this year had to go down the path of offering junior footballers free memberships because of the GFL powerhouse clubs that surround them poaching their good players.

Belmont will bounce back and yeah maybe they won't win a flag this decade but at least we have won one in the last 9 years which we can still hang our hat on & we have pride in that.

Longyroos plays hard wicket cricket so if he is happy with those little novelty trophies filling up their cabinet then good on him! He probably still believes in Santa Claus & the Easter Bunny.

Seems that old Spidey has a problem with some criticism, it's ok mate calm down hard wicket players are people too.
 
Just don't appreciate people that come on to these forums to attack a club when there down.

Belmont & East have actually been working together pretty well over the last 4 years but with you coming on here to vent your disgust at my club will not go un-noticed by me or anyone else at our club.

Why would the opinion of an average hard wicket player that can't play spin change anything?

If a couple of comments on an online forum ruins the glorious Union of two community groups I'm sorry. If you'd be man enough to tell me your name as your so freely using mine then I'm happy to talk.
