Paraphrasing a line from First DateQue?

I think we're all growing up. Our tastes are becoming more refined. That was the first time a blink-182 song has finished outside the top 10![]()

You'll never walk alone was always going to do well. The ties to Liverpool meant it would attract votes. Got my 5 for that reason.Has there ever been a podium comprised of three 60s tunes ?
And they weren't songs by Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Doors, Hendrix, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Dylan, Neil Young, Beach Boys or The Who. They weren't classic soul/Motown tunes either.
2 crooners and 1 rock ballad
I'm amazed they received 25% of the votes with so many other decent rock songs on the playlist.

Yeah I expected that too. Actually thought it would win both to be truthful.Got my Billy for that reason
It's not a bad song on its own but the Liverpool connection does tarnish it for me. I feel exactly the same way about Never Tear Us Apart and I'm pretty sure I billied that when it was nommed.Yeah I expected that too. Actually thought it would win both to be truthful.
Surprised Dire Straits Romeo and Juliet wasn't nommed although it's an obvious bote whore that's been nommed before.
I also considered nomming this song but it doesn't really refer to the Shakespeare play that it's named after.
