We're living in the safest time in human history. There hasn't been an Islamic Terrorist attack in Australia - the Lindt cafe was a lone nut bag who didn't know the difference between the Black Standard and the Flag of ISIS. (1) Immigrants/refugees: priority should be educated people first, Christians and other minorites, then Shia Muslims. Sunnis last

(2) Actually I'm appalled by the misogyny in the Middle East. Their laws reflect poorly on the morality of people there, though Iranian women are reasonably well off by regional standards (behind Israel obviously, I wonder why?)

Don't believe me, download the Global Terrorism Database, and a spreadsheet of countries with Muslim populations and do the math. Whilst it is certainly trending upwards, so are school shootings. Terrorism requires a cocktail of poisons to work. Religious zealotry is the vehicle or the glass that is used to hold the poison, not the poison itself.

The biggest problem that Westerners have with Islam is actually in the way it's written.
