but you know what, who even cares about womens football

I care about football. I care a little about the governance and administration of the game, and womens footy is a part of that, but mostly I just like watching professionally produced footy on the TV with a good crowd in the stands. This is giving me what I want and the lack of patronising commentary is definitely the right move, instead of the last game where it was constantly rammed down our throats that they are women and they are playing football and making tackles and kicking drop punts and isn't it tough?

The umpiring is reasonable as well.

Women's footy has a good feel to it. Skills are ordinary but will improve over time but I love seeing the joy of women having an opportunity to play the game they love.
