I was surprised Mike managed to get Tony Modra on the show. He was always known to be reclusive and very shy.
Although he didn't say much, it was a great interview.

My hope is that one day, Mike will get Ablett Snr on the show as he too would be similar to Modra in his articulation.

$$$$$$ I'd say they offered modra 20k for a couple of hours work and eventually he caved.

they haven't. The only fremantle players who have been on the show were modra and ben allen iirc. Neesham in his capacity as a coach.
I know I had seen a good interview with him. Thought it was an open mike episode. Must have been his hall of fame speech maybe. Which if it was, from memory was good. Would be worthy of being on the show for sure.

I liked the ones with Brian Cook and Peter Gordon and Caro and stuff. Players can be interesting but more often than not they're the same interview about being a thug in the 80s playing for Essendon/Carlton/Hawthorn. Who was the best player you played with. Who was the best player you played against. Sycophantic outro.

Get Dylan Howard or something. Proper journalism.

A special episode on the Bulldogs Premiership looks to be first up going by an ad I saw
Wouldn't that have been that 'Premier's recall' or whatever it is? Hawthorn have done it the last couple of seasons - they all sit in a small theatre and comment on the game as it plays through.

That's usual Dwayne

How daft is that ad that sees Mike going about Melbourne whilst people he comes into contact confess stuff to him?
Some of the most cringe worthy acting

I reckon Nathan Chapman would be interesting - just on when he decided to pull the pin and go kick in the NFL and how his pro-kick stuff is going now. While the stars of the 80's are his bread and butter I reckon the smaller players with the better background are always the most interesting to me.

Has Mike Sheehan developed a massive lisp?
I have been listening to him on SEN, and he reminds me of that racing bloke Ken Callander...
Ken always had spit stuck to his bottom lip

Alex Jesaulenko would be nice, Bernie Quinlan, Derek Kickett, Ross Glendinning or a Roger Merrett?

Surprising 'Jezza' hasn't been on....'Big Nic' & the 'Flying Doormat' are other 70's Blues icons, I wouldn't mind seeing being interviewed.
