You might like to think so but reality suggests otherwise Dave.
Our entries inside 50 were the issue. Not Moore - when we get some quality ball users in the side like Wells and Broomhead and support Moore with Elliot we will be better

Was surprised someone actually hit him.
He rucked against Boyd and Cloke both of whom are key forwards. Big deal, he only took the one mark and offered very little

Pretty sure the falcon was due to the stadium lights in his eyes. Wasn't a great look, but basing a statement like 'can't mark' off that incident is stupid.
Are people going to panic every time he has a bad game. He was against the best defence in the AFL. Look at Tom Boyd he got 1 possession playing on ball to half time. Big guys take time.

How many did he kick 3 weeks ago on him...
Moore is likely to have a hot and cold season and right now he is cold.
Needs to get on his bike more and use his body before leading so as to better get separation from his opponents, would like to see bucks change it up at stages and give Moore a run at CHB when he is struggling forward and put Reid up forward.
Think that move vs the dogs would of went a long way to changing the result.

Ben Reid can go forward and right now offers a lot more then Darcy.
Dunn can come in to accommodate Reid move especially since Howes is doing Reid old role of intercept mark and rebound kick.
Have any of you people ever met or spoken to Darcy Moore? I've had the pleasure on more than a few occasions and I've even shaped his dad's and Darcy's surfboards and I can tell you all that young Darce is one special young man. He's so willing to learn from just about anyone (even an old surfer) and he's really demanding on himself, so much so that I know last Friday's game would have disappointed him personally. He'll be stronger for that in the future though and I'm sure in a few years (if we let him develop before we crucify him!) he'll be an awesome player and leader at our club.

You get way too cut over comments. No ones saying he is a dud or that he wont become a great player in time.
People are just wondering whether he would be better served gaining some confidence in the VFL as he is out of form this year, JLT and rnd 1 combined.
People don't want to see him Jack Watts where he was thrown to the wolves and hurt his development, confidence is a funny thing and lack of it can make spuds of the best players.
personally I'd give him a few more rounds to see if he can work through it but I see the validity of the call.
Moore will be fine , KPF 21 as the main target. He will come good

And I repeat, then you don't know this lad. He is way too smart to be a confidence player. Confidence players have self doubt and Darcy doesn't have that at all. (He's no Jack Watts!!) He knows his game backwards and he knows what he's expected to do. He couldn't find space in the first half due to the clogging up of our forward line and then had other forwards (mainly Cox and Fasolo) running across his leads in the second quarter. I'm not saying he won't be disappointed in the way he played (I know he will be) and I'm sure if he was sent back to the two's he'd cop that on the chin as well. He's just a really level headed person. This won't phase him a bit, it will probably inspire him to great heights in the future.
