I think an Olympic games where the athletes are required to be on PEDs would have higher ratings than the 'clean' Olympics.

They do drug test and wrestlers have been suspended for PEDs. It may have been prevalent 15-20 years ago but it is not as much any more. It also helps that the big, overly muscled guys aren't exactly the 'in thing' at the moment.

Fair enough I haven't seen any since about 2000 when I had to endure it occasionally with a flatmate on a Saturday morning.

Quite liekly, but then, as with Pro Wrestling, it would shift further from being competitive sport (with all the social, anthropological, philosophical and historical import that word contains) to something else all together - but yes, probably more pure entertainment in its own way.

Uggh I know it would put everyone on a level playing field with the cheating advantage taken away but I'd stop watching the swimming at least.

Actually would it still be even anyway, the big countries with all the best drug science and money would surely have a big advantage over some athlete from a poor country nobody has ever heard of.

I have been using footy live and it has been pretty good.

The AFL app has been updated several times since JLT and start of the season. It's still not great but not as completely rubbish as it was before. Non-HD streams and replays is f'in annoying though - only guaranteed through Foxtel. Even 7 aren't showing all games in HD - ridiculous when you see what shows they do show in HD at the same times. Must be some weird agreement with Foxtel.

Yeah, this. I'm pretty sure the media rights deal that the AFL signed off on had Foxtel with some sort of exclusivity to HD broadcasting. I remember reading it at the time.

For the most part, yes. I feel it gets like that as you get older as it is mainly the kids who love the majority of the faces. Having said that, there are some good faces at the moment I really like but heels are just so much more entertaining.
