I could have really liked this game if the online multi wasn't so laggy. AFL Live 1 had lag issues occasionally but it was nowhere near as bad as Evolution.-

I don't even know if it's lag. Those two games were perfectly fine other than that.
It's definitely lag. Players sliding around and gameplay skipping forward and players not being able to interact with the ball etc are all very common lag issues in sports games. While I played I had a lot of the ball just freezing in mid air while communication was synced between players, then it would start moving again seconds later.

Wow so started my 2nd season with my Blues...... Our new home ground is the GABBA And yes have checked the rest of the fixture after round 1 and all our home games are scheduled at the GABBA Our membership numbers may start to decline ouch.... Also noticed other teams are scheduled to play on VFL grounds as well. My new recruit Bontempelli has been given the number 4 Guernsey only problem is that no one told Bryce Gibbs as he is also wearing no 4 which I reckon he is entitled too The Bont also also called Shuey by commentators. Please fix WW as this game has huge potential but as of now I am not sure I can continue my career playing at the GABBA every week

Proper home stadiums for career mode post season 1 will only be added in the expansion patch. Pls buy
The AI has made career mode a little boring for me.. hard mode is too easy plus the AI can't kick straight enough to be competitive. Legend isn't even a fair playing field, opposition gets 90% of possession without you being able to stop them and can execute perfect long range handballs and kicks instantly - my players can't even move as quickly

If they could take the goal kicking of legendary over to the hard setting I think that would be a winner for most people

haaahh..
So I played the game for the first time tonight, it's okay. But the commentary and the sirens are badly glitched, and the marking system is abysmal.
Was going to wait for the price reduction, but I bit the bullet spur of the moment and bought the game today. Pleasantly surprised. Struggling with the ruck, but marking no problem - the tip on page 54-ish here was foremost in my mind before even attempting it. Love the set shot system, and the fact that the AI tackling isn't as ridiculously perfect as it was with the game that came out around 2011. Lost the first game by heaps, played around figuring it out, but you'll all be happy to know that Tasmania, who have replaced GWS in the AFL, are currently undefeated in 2017 after 7 rounds, which in a parallel universe somewhere is how things should be. No surprise, seeing as I recruited only players who rated 85 or above, and put myself in as captain at FF with a modest 99 in every skill area...very cool because the likeness is identical to me, right down to having the waistline and hair coverage of a 47yo...Cometti says my exact name in low beefy tones (except for the match where they kept calling me Boyd, a glitch), I added 30kg of extra muscle and I even got a cool guitar tatt...
The best bit though - seeing a Tasmanian jumper running around beating up mainlanders in the AFL looks as good on the big screen as it does in my head...

Finally got the kick a grubber goal achievement. All this time I thought it was kick it along the ground but had failed to get it even though I used both A and B while the ball was not in possession but on the ground itself. But nope the grubber kick is where you've got the ball, you kick it but instead of the air ball you've kicked it deliberately on the ground.
