Something I really like about this game compared to previous AFL games is that your AI team mates actually help you by taking marks, shepparding and even soccering goals off the ground.

For me, medium difficulty in 5 minute quarters, season mode, is the most realistic game mode. The most frustrating part are the kick ins. Learned it was better to use the clearance kick button instead of the drop punt button.

Agreed. And this is when you can see differences in the opposition teams based on their rating. Games against GWS/Adelaide are considerably harder than those against Brisbane/GC

Would personally love for there to be an update where you can set up rotations.
Rather than having to pause and interchange, in you team selection prior, maybe have 3 players highlighted in rotations so every 5 mins they come on and off the bench.

Feel free to add me I'm up for some online games just as long as its no custom team TiZD1nOnLY1980

Cheers, will do!

I haven't picked up the game yet, but when I do am hoping that it will be easy to find an opponent online - I mostly will get on evenings/nights.

I'm not really into the whole career mode thing, just like to get online and play a few "friendlies"

Yeah sounds good to me its fun seeing how different people use different tactics to beat me lol

First impressions of the game after playing two matches:

Pros:
- Game seems to be a big step up from AFL Live 2
- General gameplay and player animations are much smoother
- Graphics are much more detailed than AFL Live 2 (i.e many of the players look like their real-world counterparts)
- Ball physics have been fixed (i.e no more of the ball bouncing to the left/right so much after it lands)

Cons:
- Commentary is robotic and sentences do not flow well
- Marking is abit harder to get used to compared to previous AFL games
- Some names being mispronounced like Jaeger O'Meara being pronounced as O'Mara

This impression is based off playing the game without the Day 1 patch. It seems fun although I'll have to play more of the game (especially with the Day1 patch applied) to judge whether or not this fun remains :)

Get ur player in a better position stay in front of the circle and just tap triangle or Y don't hold it. Press it before the two circles connect together
However about speccies i reakon I've taken 3.. also when online any way to stop getting bumped out of every marking contest?

1) This will only get worse, so you may as well get used to it now. AFL Live 1 was exactly the same, custom teams with super stat characters all over. I will never understand how people can find that enjoyable. Big Ant actually patched Live 1 to allow it to happen... Worst decision ever.

2) I honestly believe this is due to lag. I took my game back because of this and other lag related issues online. IMO the matchmaking is broken and the online play is severely held back by it. You either have a severe advantage if the lag is in your favor (this means you can play on without fear of being tackled, among other things), or a severe disadvantage (where as soon as you play on you're tackled). I played around 10 games and there was never a middle ground between the two extremes.

Thanks for that!
