I said he was on the radio yesterday and according to someone on our board (here on BF), said that if Kelly doesn't re-sign within 2 weeks, GWS will take that as him having chosen to leave GWS at the end of the year.

Easy to confuse with how the sentence is worded. I am not a language expert but it could be interpreted either way.
Maybe we could derail the thread with a few pages of discussion on sentence structure and use of commas. Bring on the grammar nazis and you can blame the bye rounds and too much time on my hands for this post

According to someone on our board, Brian Waldron (who apparently has a good contact or two at GWS) said on radio today that if Kelly hasn't re-signed within two weeks, GWS will take that as him having chosen another team and will plan their list strategy around that being the case (re their other contracts, trade targets and so-on).

That’s big - only thing is I am surprised Waldron is allowed anywhere near a sporting organisation.
