High contact, medium impact, reckless/negligent conduct. Was never going to get weeks for that.
Fair decision.
As so many others have discovered before your incredibly original remark...you will come to the realisation that i am always right. You chose a good name. What a load of bollocks.
Nope.High contact, medium impact, reckless/negligent conduct.
That's 2-3 weeks, isn't it?

Was playing the ball.How so?
If an incident is graded that way, there are x amount of activation points, and they in turn translate to a number of weeks' suspension.
I get that but if it's incidental contact and an accident seems like it shouldn't have even been a fineWas playing the ball.
Incidental contact was made.
It happens.
I agree.I get that but if it's incidental contact and an accident seems like it shouldn't have even been a fine
You can play the ball and still get rubbed out.Was playing the ball.

I needed to quote myself, because this is currently the most applicable pattern from what I can see in any head injuries, accident or intentional. Medical reports, people! Medical reports! From his prior history, Toby Greene is likely to get a 1 week suspension for rough conduct and high contact, bleeding injury.
Honestly though, can't anybody see the patterns lately?
Dahl got up and jogged off the ground - a fine or 1 week off to Greene.
If Dahl lied on the ground unconscious for a few minutes - 2 weeks off
If Dahl ended up concussed with a depressed fracture - 3-4 weeks
If Dahl ended up in a 3-day coma - 5 weeks off
It's got nothing to do with the act anymore, but the medical reports.
Shouldn't of even been given a fine, was nothing wrong with it
You can play the ball and still get rubbed out.
And players have been getting rubbed out for what were initially deemed legal tackles.
What is "incidental contact"?
It was medium impact to the head and caused injury. It was either reckless or negligent.
If it had been an elbow and not a foot that split Dahlhaus's lip, we'd be having a different conversation.
Why is a foot to the face deemed misconduct, whereas the collision with an elbow or a fist gets graded?

So Duncans action was worse than Greenes? If sulking was an Olympic sport Geelong fans would be carrying our flag. MRP got Dangerfield, Hawkins, Duncan and now Greene all spot on
So kung fu is in!!!!
Great!
Rules will be changed to fix this at end of season. I rekon you can lock that one in thanks eddie.Look I can understand the justification for the decision, but this just does not pass the pub test.
Was Duncan going for the ball?So Duncans action was worse than Greenes?
