If I'm on ticketek at 2pm Monday what are the odds that I get a ticket on the first or second tier for the prelim? Don't care if I have to pay $300 for them. I want to book my flights now but I'm hesitant in case I miss out.
I'm the same case as this, flights have been booked and I'm a bit concerned

Not anymore. Had an interstate membership anyway.

So if I buy a membership for 2018 I'll basically get a seat?

I reckon you'll be guaranteed a seat regardless. Competing club won't sell out

Just an FYI - The club's ticket info page for the Prelim was updated at some point in the last week or so from something along the lines of 'members can't purchase any extra non-member tickets, one per barcode only' to this:

The option of purchasing additional tickets for friends to our preliminary final will be confirmed in advance of tickets being made available to members on Monday, September 18.

I think there's a good chance we'll be able to buy tickets for non-members.

Crap!
Was hoping that it'd be 7-ish
My best mate is speaking at Connie Johnson from Love Your Sisters public service at St Paul's cathedral at 4.15. AFL stuffed any chance of that happening.
Anyone thinking of heading in from town/Fed Square area had better think again... there service will be screened on the Fed Square screens and there'll be thousands of people there for that. Parking on Flinders St will be a nightmare. Pre book peeps!

Anyone know the price for full afl members? also anyone know if they are allowing guest passes for the prelim, they permitted 4 for the qualifying final which was at least 3 to many.

"Guest Pass availability and limits will be communicated through 'Your AFL Tickets' e-newsletter and membership.afl.com.au., the Sunday night before each ticketing on-sale."

They only permitted 2 guest passes per member for the Richmond/Geelong qualifying final.
