1. So is SSM
2. Who are you to make that judgement? There's power imbalances in every relationship.
3. So is SSM.

I could live with a narrow NO win if it meant it tore this rotten govt apart and there was an election soon after, and we get rid of these campaigners.

Anything less than 70% Yes is a failure
That is approx percentage we have been told again and again are in the Yes campWhy is less than 70% a failure?
How is this designed to disenfranchise the youth vote? The process is so flawed and designed to disenfranchise the youth vote that I'd be shocked if it wasn't less than 70%.
Your bias is showingThe survey is simply self indulgent ******y by the government to say they "gave people a say" and to appease a few hard right *******s within their own party.
You have ****ing skywriters, and yet still complaining about no free speech?Cant answer the question. Or wont?

Are you saying youth cannot mark a piece of paper?
Don't know how Post Offices or letter boxes work?
Your bias is showing
The holier than thou arrogance from the Yes camp raises in ugly headPfft you can talk about bias.
You aren't too bright are you. The vote is skewed because it is sent to people's enrolled address. Young people are more likely to move regularly and not have a fixed address unlike older people with fixed addresses. Their enrolled address is more likely to be different to the place they are actually living.

Anything less than a 70% Yes vote will be a total failure
The No vote winning will lead to riots
What facts have you presented, all you have are excuses on how the youth cannot fill out basic paperworkSo just go back to your stupid talking points and not answer what i said? 70% wont happen because of the process.
Typical NO voter, cant argue on facts so just talk about how bad the YES side is.
What facts have you presented, all you have are excuses on how the youth cannot fill out basic paperwork
70% supposedly want this
maybe the original polls suggesting a large opinion in favour of SMM were incorrect because of that process70% wont happen because of the process.
So I'm guessing you completed a politics degree or something?![]()
Looks like I made a basketweaver brake cover

Sorry did I mention the bible somewhere?
And it sounds like you agree the same logic that demands people agree to SSM (equal rights, consenting adults, don't judge other people's relationships etc) also suggests that we should be able to marry siblings.
I would genuinely like someone to explain why that's not the case btw.
For all the bashing of No supporters for not being logical or having reasons for being concerned.. surely there's a decent answer.
If that is the case, why do we have elections ffs?Why is less than 70% a failure? The process is so flawed and designed to disenfranchise the youth vote that I'd be shocked if it wasn't less than 70%.
As long as a majority YES is found that's really all that matters. The survey is simply self indulgent ******y by the government to say they "gave people a say" and to appease a few hard right *******s within their own party.
The polls conducted over the last 10 years are a much greater indication of the true will of the people not this silly farce.
If that is the case, why do we have elections ffs?
