you could see at times when he had set shots dead in front - he was never going to kick the goal - he could barely stand from nerves - knowing fans had no time for him had shredded him

He definitely worried about the worlds opinion. He was becoming a damn good back flanker for a short time.

Really liked Wiggo too. do you think I may be the kind that always takes in stray dogs?

It's all good. Back in the day I liked Tim Powell and Mark Athorn.. yep.. I know.

Kerridge kicks like he can't feel his feet and fumbles as bad as that one kid in your cricket team you knew would never take the catch. Works hard though.

**** em. Put him at fine leg then. Not having him in my slips when got the outswinger going beautifully late.
Better still, bring the 12th man on and have him go off with a " bad headache"

You may well be on to something here... Reckon our doctors should do a tox-screen for insect bites, viruses and even nerve conditions. May have had 50% numbness in his hands and feet his whole life and not known it. He'd be the next Judd if we fixed him!!

Kerridge changed his game and played as a run with tagger this year.

Had an exceptional game v Geelong, amongst others.

Keep.

Don’t get the kerridge bashing his back end of the season was fantastic. Runs himself into the ground getting to contest no one other than ed would.
Can see him being a very handy role player on our list for years to cone

I don't think there's many out there who just 'have it out for him' these days. It's plainly obvious how much he puts in when he plays, and it's hard to hold a grudge against players like that for most people.

He's got deficiencies. That's clear. I hope every player gets the best out of themselves and becomes the greatest of all time, but failing that, ideally we want our young guys to perform so well that Kedge stays on the fringe. That would mean we are improving, and isn't a knock on him.

i agree his kicking improved so much its not funny, really impressed with the second half of the season when cripps and curnow where out.

Kerridge works hard and that is great BUT to be a regular senior player he needs to improve his ball use and decision making. These are critical issues and can't be overlooked

Could Kerridge game improve if we do infact have a more attacking game plan that’s been touted on here for next season ? Or will Kerridge have to reside in the Tasmanian tiger’s cellar with caviar Moët and blue cheeses?

We love to get excited about our young bucks but the reason they can play 20-odd games in their first year is guys like Kerridge who pick up the defensive workload. Respect where it's due.
Kedge had like two good games where he played to his limits. There can be no doubt he's a horrible footballer but he's a supreme athlete with good character. Maybe he can extract the best from himself but it's high risk little reward to keep playing him.

I choose to not attribute any of our youngsters' success to Kerridge.

we were saying the same thing about ed curnow a couple of years ago but he improved his kicking and his game went to another level. i see kerridge in the same mould , he is improving to a good footballer before our eyes , but some supporters cant see it.

I can definitely see Kerridge going the way of Carrazzo and Curnow who both had issues earlier in their career but worked hard on their games to be vital members of the team
I have so much time for guys like Carrots and Ed who aren't blessed with elite talent but who work harder than anyone else to improve their game. Generally speaking both of these guys got/get better every year they play/ed which speaks volumes for their character and drive to succeed. I also see Kerridge in the same mould and love him for it. Unfortunately I do think he will be (and should be) left behind as our talent pool improves and becomes deeper but hopefully he can remain an occasional role/depth player. I am sure coaches love having guys with his sort of drive and commitment around the club.

Agree, would always prefer a hard working slightly less skillful player, then a lazy talented one, Kerridge/T Menzel.
Instead of scrutiny being on Kerridge, it should be on Levi. Although he has execellent hands and had his first ok season. His kicking is still poor and his movement around the ground is too slow.
We tried to trade him and no one wanted him which says a lot. If he doesn't have a really big 2018 season, then he should be delisted IMO. This is why we should move Weiters or Rowe forward now

Weiters is a Backman looks very comfortable there whilst Rowe is just as slow as Levi but a better kick, not sure they are the answers.Mckay is very important to us this year and Kerr is still developing.
