Where did you hear about only being the first 2 being relevant/ Don't think ive heard that before.

The formula got leaked early this year (I think it was - time flies). It's the first 2 years, by where the player sits in salaries in the club/AFL, and modified by age etc.

So, if the formula doesn't change (AFL will probably change it ) you structure your offer to be front ended and everyone is happy. e.g. $5mil over 4 years = $1mil first 2 years, then $700, $650, $650.

what are people's best estimates of what we are going to pay him if he elects to come to richmond. I'm assuming tom browne's guess of 1.4 mil and us getting rid of 5 players is way off the mark. Is it going to be a 5 year + deal heavily front loaded but 6 mil over the 5 years around average 1.2?
