Yes their is a lot of talk going on about Lynch coming to Tigerland...not sure what to believe at the moment...
But what I do like reading about is that his sista is going to play for the Tiger's women's team...that just may well be the tipping point for him...

I’d be interested in thoughts on Lynch vs Patton. Patton out of favour at GWS and is gettable. We would obviously have to trade for him.

I think Lynch is better, but The General could still be a great fit if we can’t get Lynch across.

I’d prefer Lynch. More mobile, more of a well rounded player.

As you said, would cost a fortune to trade for.

Also, not sure why he's gettable? Because he was dropped? He was terrible against Geelong and deserved to be dropped.

Lynch is top 3 KPF material, if someone like that wants to come to your club, you just make it happen.

I've got no doubt we have room to move with in the cap, club has been open about that for a while already, but I highly doubt he will get 1.4m unless he stays at GC. If he comes back to any of the Vic teams it will be closer to 1m I would say.

People worrying about losing Menadue or Markov etc due to the deal, I'd say Lynch almost has no bearing on that. If they can't break into a strong lineup and get offered a best 22 spot at another club that's fair enough, but that circus will happen regardless of whether we get Lynch or not.

I think the club should be trusted enough at this point with how they have operated over the last few years for us to be confident that any offer to Lynch will not send our list management into chaos.

I think some posters are low balling and not factoring Richmond as the first team to 20 premierships before 2030!!


We are a better team without T Lynch atm, no need to upset our small forwards and the apple cart that rely on group athleticism and mobility to a level that would be negated by having a T lynch come in.

I just think the Townsend, Caddy, Balta, JR and others like Callum going forward with the small forwards simply provide a more formidable combination.

Sorry, I believe in the Tigers combination which is why I backed them for the 2018 flag and frankly I am prepared to get behind Castagna and co seeing the upside and why Carlton saw the potential to.

We got a good thing going with the youngsters, our recruiters are running hot, we should not wreck the momentum when we have a proven good thing that is limitless at the moment!!! I do not believe in giving other teams a leg up by getting Lynch, Tigers need to be ruthless!!!

I have no issue getting behind the current list and staying the course with draft picks and the odd Free agent.


People need to understand we will be contending for a decade after JR retires as well as Rance. It helps Rance's other endeavours if RFC is still in grand finals in terms of his exposure to so I am sure Rance will want to keep in the winning ticket while he can before he reaches other audiences

Wont go into my work details but i meet and drink with a fair few big wigs, last night over a beer with one of lynch mangers mates i was told in simple form, lynch has not comttited to any club and simply put highest bidder wins out of the powerhouse vic teams. Bloke wants a good chance at success but will sign with one of the top vic teams over others for money.

I'll trust in Balme, Gale and Dimma to do whats best for the club.

Sounds like the exact attitude we don’t want.

That’s a guy who isn’t willing to buy in for team success. Just looking out for a pay day.

Goes against everything our team stands for.

Its still between the top vic clubs not north lolz but he wants money so basically if say collingwood offer more or the hawks he will go there
