McKay is so good at ground level for a 200cm+ player. That running goal was all class.

Also firmly believe his good form could be detrimental to Levi, who hasn't got the same ground-level skills, isn't as good a kick and gives away dumb frees by generally being cumbersome. I think McKay will relish being the 2nd tall, and has the body for it too. Was getting closer and closer to clunking some of those contested marks.

Great first up game for Lang too. Looks skilled, moves well and is a goalkicker. I'd much rather we look to implement a smaller forwardline, as it looked far more dangerous than having the three talls, and McKay wont be moved if his present form continues anyway.

Put Blues and Lions in a multi. Only dropped $6, but question is, do I cash out now for $20 or hold out for the Lions game and potentially get $65?
I know everyone is on the edge of their seats wanting to know what happened here. I cashed in when scores were tied for $20.
Thanks for your concern.

Oh, and we still won!!!

Have a Like on me, Mebby.

Today I also mysteriously suddenly got back my Like button, to add to my joy.

Ironically I originally lost my Like button by going on a Liking spree on the Bummers board after we beat them some years ago. Needless to say I resisted that temptation today...
Same here. Every. Single. Post.

Happy for Lamb, but him coming in to play on Goddard still serves as a reminder that his biggest issues are his endurance and speed. Earns him another week, where he's got another couple of soft targets in Lever and Lewis.

On an even brighter note, great to see Lang finally in the side, and look forward to him ramping up his midfield time. Great composure from McKay, Kerridge O'Brien, and Dow at various points in the game as well.

Still need to push a few out of this team so that there's more speed and run across four quarters, but it's nice to have a win in the bag.
Perhaps you missed the post that had him the quickest player on the ground?

That win just takes the pressure off the club as a whole. Fingers crossed with the shackles off and a few more players back from injury we can pinch a few more in the short term.

Really great to see some fringe players in Nicky G, OShea Lamb and Kedge play their part in the win along with the seniors usual contributions and the continuing growth of the green shoots.

Yep agree 100%.

I think Cas still has a role to play this year as McKay probably can't go all year, but next year McKay should take over the forward/ruck role full time and Cas in the 2's.mLook so much mobile without Cas and essentially replacing him with a small, which also meant more defensive pressure.

Reckon Lang will be an absolute beauty...he's versatile in being able to play half forward/midfield and showed some class and poise.
