Go on front footand clip it close and thenfull shave when it starts to defn not grow back. A little stubble beard and keep in shape.
Keep the $3-4 grand and spend it on a personal trainer/gym membership to stay i shape and that will make up for it in terms of loss in confidence

I'd go the one Doug Bollinger had.

While am not going bald my hair has thinned and doesn't grow back as thick as it used to so I just keep it short. Seems to work OK provided I have a few strands left. Don't know what will happen if I go full bald. Don't have the shaped head to pull off the Ablett look so might just spring for a full treatment.

Am thinning myself so have looked into this recently. Apparently they all pretty much just use over the counter products like Regaine and Propecia. A whole bunch of side affects like erectile dysfunction and charge a hefty premium for it. If you're serious about it it seems best to source the products yourself, but even then its not guaranteed to work.

Yeah my brother in law had good results from a shampoo and tablets (that A&M first gave him but now his GP does). Hasn't had any side effects from what he is taking, well I think he hasn't. He has had 2 kids since and I'd wanna hope he isn't recommending anything that has side effects!

Shave your head now as a dry run, if you look okay and Mrs Q likes it, save your money.

I went out and bought some clippers to do it probably 6 months ago. I am petrified of shaving it, especially after I have let it grow for so long.

Risky.

Is it not from thr men on your mother's side?

Im thinning and receding in my 20's.

Have gone the bald look in the past and got quite a few compliments. It made me look more masculine when generally I can pass for 18.

Have had uncles spend thousands with very poor results. Definitely just gonna accept my fate when it thins and recedes out too much.

I thought the gene was carried by your mum's mum, which makes sense in my case because my dad still has a fairly good head of hair while my brother and I are bald as coots, and my nan had a very fine hair.

Jump online and do your own research, pretty sure there will be a bald mans forum somewhere. Had a friend who went the Advanced Hair and dropped like 3k for absolutely no result.

You can actually get fake hair tatoo'd or whatever this actually is. Looks glorius.

I wonder what that looks like really close up. Looks alright from that distance though.

I love my hair too much for a transplant... I just loved it more when it was thicker.

I have no shame in getting a wig made, something like this.
