I tell you what, the Bluws wouldn't want Cripps to get injured... He's having a fantastic season and this is the kind of crap they serve up.
funny you say that....someone brought up a good point, a Bluws supporter, a few weeks ago that they are worried about retaining on to their high draft picks and Cripps as players are becoming (supposedly) more impatient for success and don't want to wait around for a 5 year rebuild that may or may not work. It was quite a good point as when you see teams like Bulldogs, Tuggers and us doing well this year (even though we were mostly injury ruddled) that being in a team that seems so far off it and not competitive; why would you want to waste away your years and stay there?

Bluws are that far off it it's not funny.

Things can turn quickly of course. But Lions seem way ahead of them. Thats what you get when you recruit so many reserve GWS players over a 3 year period.

So... how does Essendon lose to this rabble but beat Geelong albeit away from Vic Government Stadium?

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-05-20/watch-dons-19-men-on-the-field-drama

AT THREE-QUARTER time on Saturday, Essendon fans were relaxed, a 10.11 (71) to 3.5 (23) lead over an out-of-sorts Geelong seemingly assuring long-suffering Bombers supporters of a much-awaited victory.

Then, just seconds before the siren sounded to start the last term, Mark Baguley sprinted flat-out from the half-forward line towards the Essendon interchange bench.

It wasn't a last-minute change of personnel. The Bombers had 19 men on the field.

Some Geelong defenders, suddenly aware of the possibility that Essendon might have its score annulled, tried to signal to the field umpire, but fortunately for the Dons Baguley made it to the sanctuary of the boundary line before the umpire bounced the ball.

Twice cheaters. You'd also think they would have enough footage to confirm this.

McLuggage running everywhere....seems to not have an opponent you'd nearly think.

Charlie Cameron robbed of 3 free kicks in 3 mins.

Hawks getting a fairly good run with the umpires.

Don't worry about Carlton, they will bounce back , apparently their next 2 games are v a rebounding Geelong @ Geelong, followed by a trip to Sydney v Swans, maybe the wee man Bolton is positioning himself for a priority pick to begin a rebuild.

At the time I wouldn't have agreed with you. But I do in hindsight.
Was lipreading him when he spoke to De Goey a few times, saying, "You'll like it at North. Imaging running past Brownie - you'll kick 60 at least".

Just when you thought the Worpedo couldn't look more 'floggier'

What's that, their sixth #1 pick since the turn of the millennium?

Gaff cutting them in pieces.........McGovern being a general down back and Spud Darling doing great.

Nankervis seems to just get away with everything in the ruck.
