Unfortunately our worst fears have been confirmed, when scans have shown that our big champ, Nic Naitanui,
has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
He is a much loved and idolised figure in the footy community, and we all know how much work he put into getting back from his previous ACL injury on his left knee back in 2016.
We love ya mate, try to keep your chin up, and we will all very keenly follow and support what ever decisions are made from here...

The worst part is that due to the timing of the injury (if it does end up being another ACL)- he’ll miss most /all of 2019 too . Career threatening :(

Just our luck, we get some guns back, record a massive win, only to lose arguably our most important player

Do we bring Vardy in or back Lycett to go it alone (like most clubs, play a single ruckman) and bring in a Sheed to compensate in the middle?

Simmo looked almost on the verge of tears. Frustrating that it was all the foxfooty team could really takeaway from the win though.

Just our season.

Did you not just watch the game? We just dominated the second half without him.
Obviously it would be better to have him but in my view it will not change our chances this year. We are a good side.

Can't they do some tests on a knee straight away to determine whether it's an ACL? I know they don't confirm ACL but are usually ~90% correct. I suppose Simmo reaction says these test were bad news..

Nah. It's a body blow.

I didn’t see the presser but Simmo needs to keep it together and keep positive in front of the boys.

Guttered by the news however it's now a case of next man up.

Could be the making of Jarhead.
