Injury Nic Naitanui confirmed ACL reconstruction

The West spoke to Bill Knowles, the specialist Nic worked with in Philly. I particularly liked this part.

“Knowles had no doubt Naitanui would retain his explosive attributes despite having both knees reconstructed.

“He is a brilliant athlete,” Knowles said.

“He’s more of an NBA build and body type. He’s not extremely heavy.

“He’s a big guy, he’s got weight, there’s no question about that. But the reality is he’s got spring, he’s got bounce and pop. He has every opportunity to come back as good. There is no question.”

Saw this on FB, what a lovely guy NicNat is. Always puts others first, even in times of diversity. Great man he is.

I think you mean "adversity". Diversity is an old wooden ship

Hey guys,

Pardon my intrusion.

I hope you don't mind me posting this here as I've snuck one in on the main board and plan to visit a few other selective threads before I'm done.

To cut a long story short, I'm a Physio whose really passionate about understanding why injuries happen.

Since the news of Nic Nat's second ACL I've wanted to put something together detailing the things that I think my industry misses with this horrible issue.

I have no affiliation with Nic and I would hate for this to come across as anything but positive in regards to your medical team.

I just feel like my industry has a tendency to be looking in the wrong direction sometimes with these things.

Anyway, I've used Nic Nat to hopefully highlight what I'm finding from my experience looking at ACLs.

I'm hopeful you'll all find it worthwhile.

So please feel free to check it out and let me know your thoughts.

I'm a huge nerd and am all in on the discussion if anyone is up for one.

Thanks and best of luck this weekend against the Roos.

Cheers!
