Sydney have denied any real injury as far as I know, but he didn't do a pre season because of a groin injury. The club said he was just building his fitness but it seems obvious the way he covers the ground now there is something not right. He's usually one of the best runners in the game.

He is out at the moment with a calf though I think?
Out with a stuffed septum from all the white dust in the air around those Eastern suburbs

Could be wrong but i think Hannebery has a strike or 2 from the AFL for having too much fun. Although this was when he was younger.

Remember GT blew up twitter earlier this year by questioning why Buddy & Hannebery (known to be close mates off field) just happened to be out "injured" at the same time earlier in the year...

Well we have all stated we are sick of the good boys...
We may well get what we wished for

Hanners looks more cooked than Armitage. I really hope we aren’t looking anywhere near him

We need another Guerra running in from the square first bounce cleaning some kent up.

Agree.
Aside from that I don’t like what is out there about his extra curricular activities as well. He and his mate may well have been protected at Sydney, but you can bet your bottom dollar it wouldn’t be the same if he “misbehaved”, to put it euphemistically, here.

More than happy with the Gubby appointment if it comes true. Experienced campaigner who will be ruthless and knows what a club needs to be successful.

I couldn't care less about any character issues but must admit that I'm so fed up with this re-build that I'd accept Jack the Ripper as our list manager as long as he would get results.

And yet you're happy to invest in Aaron Hall...

Aaron Hall will play a lot more quality footy than Hanners. He'll be at a Melbourne club next year and play some gun games and will get noticed for the first time.

Tom Harley said he did no pre season and as a result has a had 3 stop starts this year doing his calf twice and groin.
He’s been a star for us for 200 plus games and if the swans get rid of him, the list managers have got rocks in their head. Fastest player to 200 games, 3x all Australian, premiership player and a great leader. I remember Everyone wrote Sean Higgins off with OP when. Roth picked him up. he’s made the bulldogs look stupid since then

What's he worth in a trade (factoring in his large contract that we would have to take on)?

What do you know about out new recruiting head? Will he be an upgrade ?
Like Sgt. Schultz , "I know nothing of the new bloke". I do know one thing. I doubt Simon "Robert Downey Junior look alike (according to my missus) will not give another "good bloke" a go. He will get the best man for the job, be that Allan, Lloyd or even Dalrymple who would be long odds as he was only poached twelve months ago.

The thing is, like a coach who needs good assistants, recruiters need a network and lots of good support. That's what I hope he puts in place. Interstate spies, junior watchers all over the place and professionals in place to filter the wheat from the chaff. We've never really had that, apart from the past two years as we've at least had more numbers. Even though a couple of them were muppets, just more numbers saw our recruitment improve. Carlisle, Gresham, Phillips, Rice, Long, Battle, Coffield and Clarke is evidence of that. Two more good years and we are back in the game.

Still trying to come to terms with why TFWF traded us out of rounds two and three of this draft, but in getting Clavarino, who will be good, and Austin, he showed some foresight as we will need a tall defender/interceptor or two. Clavarino will be an excellent intercept Mark. Just needs to gain 15 kilos or so.

Not really sure. If his salary is chunky and they want it off the books to pay other players, I think you’d take on the salary with the swans paying some of it and give up maybe 2nd rounder. If you got him, based on a deal like that it would be a big win for you and a huge loss for us

At least you know that JTR will cut heavily...
