A whole lot of discussion about whether our trade period has been bad or not based on comparisons to what some other clubs have done, mainly North Melbourne, which then descended into a discussion about which players on the end of the list may be considered in our best 22 as compared to players traded in by North Melbourne. Most of which was largely useless discussion in my view.

This Board is clearly split into people who think we absolutely should be doing everything possible to trade in mature age talent, not Duryea, but May or his like even if it means giving up Pick 7 or future first round picks and those who think we should be taking our top picks to the draft and trying to get the next Bont, Macrae, Naughton or Richards. Everyone has their own take on it and has used the last however many pages to make their point.

I would avoid reading most of it if I were you.

Pretty simple from my perspective, we have anywhere near our best 22 Jong and Honey are not even close. Based on the last 2 years Dahl is not best 22. Again take our side that beat North, who does he replace.

As for Adams he hardly played and one on one this year when he did even in poor weather was ordinary.

You have mentioned nothing but depth players and there are more younger players already on the list already past those you mention

While I agree a couple of Norf's recruits would not be best 22, Polec walks into our team every day of the week, and to try to form an arguments based around Dahl and Adams not being best 22 to try and make a point just makes you look like a looney tune that no one could take seriously, they both played every game they were available for.

How anyone can not consider our list worse than two weeks ago is beyond baffling.

Dahl is a better footballer than Jong and Honey at 50%. Adams is better than Roberts or Young or Trengove.

Our list(and not all the clubs fault has gone backwards from the end of season) it may improve but as of RIGHT NOW it’s worse

If you are talking about our team RIGHT NOW .(your emphasis) you really shouldn't be talking about Adams as a departure. A bit to play out there. Can't have it both ways.

The delusion of the quality of our list on here is astronomical.

This trade period has shown how some in here literally live in fantasy land

The clique have praised us for not going for big fish and just improving through depth and trading role players BUT when North do that it’s laugh time!!!!!

We finished 13th(should have been 14th if Freo didn’t tank) this year and blokes like Duryea Polec and Hall wouldn’t get games for us????? Lol dear god seriously.

We are an absolute certainty to miss finals again next year. We are in full rebuild after a flag with a young list which proves how much we have stuffed it up but still we all have to believe in the club or we are wrong.

I’m happy to go to the draft and build but if that was the plan after 16 eveyone should be sacked and let’s not laugh at other clubs for doing exactly what the followers in here support we should do.

Here's a list of our most experienced players:

Suckling - Missed half the season

That's without even mentioning the retirement of two 300 gamers, Liberatore doing an ACL in the first quarter of the season and the countless other injuries that hit us through the year. Yes we finished 13th but that list is not the 13th best list in the competition and I don't see how you or anyone else could honestly disagree.
