Pick 14

If they get to the rookie draft we can take them as cat B rookies, outside the list and salary cap so no need to stress about that (provided they make it there :))

List needs = Ruck kinda gets you off to a bad start with taking it seriously.

Still, don't mind the picks. Hill, Stack and Lewis/Woodcock would suit me. Not so keen on mature mids though.

> Jason Carter and Tom Medhat, but there is a strong possibility that both could go to the club through the Rookie Draft.

We will have Hughes, Nyhuis, Apeness and Giro on the rookie list. No space for em yeah?
I was led to believe that NGA players become Cat B rookies so doesn't impact the Cat A rookie list. Tayl0r will know.

If they become rookies, they will be Category B rookies, and therefore additional to the list. Because they are from Kimberley indigenous or have an overseas parent in our Metro zone, they are bonus, if they make it through the main and preseason draft without being nominated.

If no bid has come at Pick 65 for Carter, then picking up a mature ager is the right idea.

Just adds that bit more depth.

What happens to the academy players if they get a bid from another club after we've used our 4 national draft picks?
This is the big question.

It might explain why West Coast picked Waterman with their last pick.

Clark has come down with glandular fever. Any chance he'll slide to 14 now?

It would only happen if clubs had him as a 50/50 against someone else, might be a deciding factor. Cant see him sliding a great deal

I've read a couple of interviews now on Clark and he keeps reiterating how close he is to his family. With the cricket rumour (avoided a lot of travel) and now this, it may cause him to slide a bit. Not sure if he will make it to 14*. Either way, I suspect he will be back at either WC or Freo within 4 years or so.

Stack is really talented.

I know. But so is Harley.

Made me think of that guy a few years back that was ultra talented and went undrafted, then the Hawks took a punt on him the following year only for it to blow up in their faces a few weeks into preseason, who was that?

Seems most of the phantoms now have Clark going top 10 and us taking hill. I'm actually quite bullish on hill, I think he'll slot into our list perfectly. We can take a clearance winning mid in the second round, if hill is gonna be gone by 31 then I want him at 14

Dayle Garlett. What makes you think Stack is anything like Garlett btw?

Dayle Garlett. Commited a bunch of home invasions to feed his meth habit. Ultra talented.

I highly doubt Stack is at the level of discipline that Garlett was

Have watched the Stack videos online and I think he may be a bit underrated. Seems to read the ball off the tap beautifully and also has a nice hard edge to him.
