We have Pick 1, SOS is probably going to be very good at live trades, and we also have a a really good recruiting team in place (finally!).

Meanwhile:
Crows have 8, 13, 16 and 21 which in raw points totals ~4700 points
GWS have 9, 11, 19 and 25 which totals ~4500 points
GCS have 2, 3, 6, 24 and 29 which totals ~7900 points
Port have 5, 10, and 15 for ~4400 points

SOS must really love Walsh if he doesn't feel the need to do a trade. Because if he did do a trade I would back him and the team to completely nail it by extracting maximum points and then picking future stars with those picks. We won't have such an opportunity again for many years.

I think we should stick with Walsh. He will be a consistent player for a very long time in the midfield.

I think you guys need goals small mid forward game changer. Carlton kickes the least goals this year.lost to bris by over 100 points. If I was in SOS’s shoes there are 3 players I consider as part of a pick 1 trade.

I accept 2 and 6 or 3 and 6 and I choose 2 of Rankine, Smith, Rozee.

Still think GC won’t do this deal even though people keep bringing it up. Would be an incredible offer!

I’d be 100% happy to keep 1 and take Walsh.

If giving up pick one gets us Rankine/Rozee two speedy classy medium forwards with xfactor i'd be absolutely stoked if Rozee was gone one of Caldwell/Smith would be a great result as well

Well if Gold Coast were looking to trade up to pick 1 for Walsh, pick 2 + anything would be sufficient.

Could be 2 + 24 + 29

If the player we want is there at pick 2 or 3, it's not entirely critical that the second component of the trade is a top six pick or massive overs.

There has been a serious lack of rumours being posted.
Therefore it seems we will have a predictable draft. There have been no trade offers worthy and we will select Sam Walsh.

Let me put it this way, if we traded pick 1 and took Rankine, it wouldn't surprise me.

If we took Rankine with pick 1, that would be a shock.
