Another failure in the second innings you could take out and replace the top 6. Wouldn't have Kahwaja as a lock. Only locks at this point are: Lyon, Cummins, Paine and probably Harris.

About right. On form, even Hazlewood and Starc probably not a certainty for a Test side picked next week. Cannot recall a time our 11 so unstable from one Test to the next.

It was pretty much like that in 1985/86 in terms of who was considered safe in the 11. Border and...well no one.

In that time period I was probably camping down beach side this time of year with school mates and avoiding watching it. We would have been playing cricket near our camp site with radio on. Hearing a Mike Gatting lead England side pump us was something I luckily avoiding seeing a lot of.
