Noones asking you to enjoy it. Hell you dont even have to watch it.

And lol at using 3 extreme examples vs what will be glorified circle work.

I sure as hell don't want them playing and I won't be watching it but reality is its going to be a pretty casual run for these blokes.
Lol away, but the justification was the players wanted to do it.

As were the examples I gave.

The point is that the players that are playing signed up to do this. They weren't forced to do it, and players who aren't quite ready in their preseason preparation didn't nominate. The link between players playing AFLX and players doing silly stuff in their off season is ridiculous.

I most likely won't watch it but I certainly won't lose sleep that our players are involved. And I am also fully aware that the game isn't meant for us passionate footy fans, it's simply not. It's meant to broaden the appeal of the game beyond traditional followers and is an attempt to expand the game outside of Australia.

Looking forward to giving it a watch.

Players had to be allowed both by the club and want to do it so if the club is happy for them to play and the players themselves want to play. Good enough for me.
Looking forward to seeing the deadly team play

So, we play JLT the day before, Thurs 21Feb. Are we expected to leave those 4 out of our lineup?
I would prefer we play them, and then they can just be rested for the Friday AFLX rubbish due to tiredness/niggles from the previous night.
I don't think it is desirable for Shiel, for example, to have to miss one of only 2 opportunities he has to integrate with out mids and forwards before Rd 1.

I'm sure the first JLT game will me more for players outside the 22 and the development guys to play.

2nd match we will trot out our round 1 team.

Agreed.

He only gets 2 chances. They don't integrate at all during pre-season training.

I've always been a massive Bolts fan. My dad was a Bolts fan and his father before him.

Said no one ever.
I hear Glenn Manton is a huge fan.

Can't say I'll watch unless I'm really struggling to find something to do.

Players can get injured at training. Match sim training is harder and tougher than this, can't put players in cotton wool or they'll get soft.

Oh wait, AFLX is pretty soft right?
