You don't need Cunnington. This team is completely fine, who gives a * if we lose. I just wanna see how Tom Campbell fares as the ruck, if the defence is better and if we can actually get it forward this time with more utilizing Polec. Plus you get to see Tarryn, LDU, and Bailey Scott, Larkey and McKay have another crack at it.

He’s either injured or we are foxing

You don't fox with absolutely no match practice fro a month before Rnd 1.

He played the intra & the Geelong game.

He must of picked something up in the Geelong game imo.

No doubt Goldy has been rested due to Campbell's suspension.

This has got to be one of the worst lead-ins to a round 1 I can recall.

Our talls have been decimated to the degree that we have to put Goldy on ice as we have no ruck alternative for round 1 otherwise (a one-handed Durdin?). We could potentially have a 1-gamer (BMac) and 2-gamer (Larkey) holding down the key defensive posts with our 2018 starting combination all missing if Taz doesn't get up.

Our 2 key forwards, BBB and Wood are both underdone, as is JZ.

Our match winners BJ and Garner are MIA and now our bulls, Cunners and Jed, are going into round 1 without a JLT hitout under their belts.

The only bright lights have been the way the young guns have impressed and Maj's remarkable recovery.

Murphy's Law would suggest that we will probably beat Freo after years of going into round 1 brimming with confidence and losing.

Will just enjoy watching TT, Scotty, and LDU strut their stuff against Port. And head to Freo with no expectations.

Pressure makes a diamond, and our younger, fitter and healthier side of the team that is our future might be able to handle whats thrown at 'em and surprise us.
