I know we started well and it's not as if we didn't kick anymore goals for the rest of the game, so that point matters little

In fact it can be argued that once we sustained injuries to Kennedy in the first quarter and Kreuzer not long after that momentum changed.

Looking forward to the game, we have a stronger side than last year, so I am expecting a very competitive game

We will also be fielding a far stronger side that last year with ins including Prestia, Houli, Rioli, Higgins, and possibly Lynch

possibly.

but we will get ours starting from the opposite end of the ground.
well, the young and dumb carlspoon spuds are going to be infringing all over the place. if the same rules are in place for all teams we should get 20 50/100m penaltys on thursday night

Would like to see Weller and KMc play.
Baker on little Fisher, who runs across half back, would be good to see.
If Walsh plays, as they say, then would include Ross.
Soldo to help Nank.
Markov and Menadue omitted.

Fisher is a little jet, reckon Butler will be his matchup for pace.

Well Grigg, Caddy, Castagna and Townsend were all premiership players, so perhaps that balances off as a whole

I really hope Lynch plays, not match fit, nor has your forwards/side had time to gel with him

Very good player, but needs a few weeks under his belt

LOL no one is match fit, JLT is just glorified training sessions. hahahahahahaha
As for gelling, you don't actually believe that shit do you and if Lynch plays he will kick 5 and in the return match when you are at your worst he will kick 10+.

Oh by the way just wondering how you are going to stop us from having 30+ shots at goal.

Sorry to intrude, but I thought I’d have a read of this thread to get the opposition perspective...
My hatred for Richmond is deep, and no secret. That’s due to a couple of my life long Richmond mates who have made my life a living hell over the last 35 odd years...

One of them covers my car in yellow streamers every time you beat us. Every time! Not a few streamers! Roughly half a ton of streamers!

The other greets me like this every time I see him. He puts his palm in the middle of my chest, pushes off gently, and whispers “Dustyyyyyyy”...

Against my will, I’ve been a Richmond member for the last five years, as these two flogs chip in to buy me one every year.

Seriously, how can I not hate you?!

Anyway, it appears not one of you thinks we have a chance on Thursday night. You probably have every right to feel that way. But it’s the unknowns that should at least concern you...

You know Cripps, and Curnow. We know Rance, and Jack. Matin and Cotchin. But what of the unknowns?
How will big Lynch fit in? Will he play? How much have the Carlton youngsters improved? Will the new rules have an impact? What does the 6 6 6 rule do for the respective midfields? Will Jack have his kicking boots on? What will the umps do? etc etc...

You can’t tell me that when that siren goes to start the game. and that first bounce is delivered, that not one of you won’t be a tad nervous. That none of you won’t think, “shit, I hope our boys aren’t as cocky as us”...

We may not get the four points, but to dismiss us completely would be foolhardy. I look forward to a great game, no injuries to either side, and Carlton by 16 points.

My penis will be so hard on Thursday night that you will be able to break coke bottles on it. That’s how cocky i am. Tigers by 81.

Sent from my iPad using righteous Bhodi manpower

They are completely legit. The Dusty push off is annoying as ****! And when he does it, he giggles to himself like a schoolgirl. I try to pretend it doesn’t bother me, but I may break his wrist some day...

The streamers are just as bad. I drive a hummer. Do you know how many streamers it takes to completely cover a car that big?! And I mean cover! You cannot see the car at all under all the streamers. It takes 6 wheely bins to get rid of them.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. These two are ****en menaces!
here bloke....enjoy until the real thing after next Thu....

Interesting

Pretty sure Lynch hasn't had a serious hitout in 9 months, but if you think he is ready to for, sounds like the expectations are high

As for scoring shots, I am looking forward to what you lot do with the new rules, no more starting with your forwards on the back of the square or a +1

Sounds like you've had a few sleepless nights thinking about it.

Deep breaths....

Weller is a great story.
Recovering from injury, delisted prematurely by St Kilda in mid-career.
Joining a top side with the potential to go all the way.
He has the hunger.

Who edited my thread title?

everyone has been asked to keep the preview thread titles in the same format as you now see so it is easier to search back on.

I'm not sure who edited it though, but thats the reason why.

Another LOL, looks like someone has been listening a little bit too much to the media over summer, did you know that every single club started with spares off the back of the square and even a +1, just thought you would like to know just in case you were unaware. ;) But if you want to believe that it was only Richmond who did any of this then go right ahead. :thumbsu:

Cotch prestia and dusty win it in the centre and kick it to 2 of the best tall forwards in the comp and they either mark it or bring it to ground for rioli/butters etc. Once we get ahead the opposition won't be able to send 8 back at centre bounces to stop lynch and jiewoldt. 666 will benefit Richmond more than anyone

That is cute, trying to school me on set ups and tactics

Look a little deeper and you will realise that you had the lowest % of starting 6 6 6 last year than any other side 3.4 %:)

lmao i love this shit

you do realise you didnt cop more absolute pastings last year because you put 2 extras back at times?

the new rules will have a much bigger affect on your team than it will on ours

good luck to your defence having to play 1v1 on Riewoldt, Lynch, Rioli, Butler, Dusty, Higgins, etc
