To be fair, he has played further up the ground a fair bit; but if he plays deep forward he's pretty unlikely to get 15 touches.

Over the season, his importance will depend upon how often he makes and gets his own goals, ie other than "just" finishing off goals created further afield (like the Ablett one, a schoolboy dream - perfect unstoppable sit, perfect pass).

Id say influential bits of play..he will have quite games... but id expect to him positively influence a few results. He is a moments player. Be nice to see one this week.

Collingwood can expose us with small forwards, and we can expose them with tall forwards. But the key is balance, because while the old saying of "tall players don't get any smaller as the game goes on" is true, they also get slower.

Moore is 6’8” as well so that’s one advantage gone. He was outmarking Curnow in their JLT game..

We are better off having Hawkins and a resting ruck forward. This is whether Sav plays or not because with his speed, endurance and agility he isn't a liability in anyway. Just a shame he is getting injured.

I would set up with Stanley/Abbott/Fort in the goal square as a long target, I would let Hawkins and Esava run their opponents on leads, and have Rohan, Dahl and Ablett complete the set up.
They don't have a competent tall defender and I would absolutely back having any of our resting rucks sitting deep on guys like Roughead, Goldsack or Moore.

Its their forwards I worry about, especially with Tuohy and Bews out.

Atkins will take a Narkle/Cockatoo spot Clark is warming Tuohy's Constable replaces SS so its really only Miers that would push anyone out.

They could all be called White , Brown , Green or Black as far as Im concerned.. forget the name pick on the form we have seen over the PS and in the JLT.
and if its borderline .. go for the kid.
Any srs that miss.. not sure who you are talking about ..perhaps Henderson .. then perform in the twos and show why he should be selected.

By “interesting” I mean something not obvious to the eye. E.g. Atkins plays; well who from the forward-ish list misses? Dahlhaus? Rohan? Surely not Menegola or Parfitt.
