I don't think anyone should be talking about the defence right now as no defence could handle how clean the ball is coming in. It is all down to the midfield as they can't win the ball, and when the dogs have the ball they (the dogs) are able to kick it into our defensive 50 with no pressure at all. How can our defence be expected to cope? No defence could cope with the service that the Bulldogs forwards are getting.

Have to disagree and say that Melican has done quite a few good spoils in 1st quarter already. His form has been much improved compared to JLT.

They’re doing a number on us in stoppages around the ground, we need to somehow turn that around somehow, maybe orchestrate an extra number at the contest

Obviously super early but it seems like the only move we made to try and improve the midfield was.....Ryan Clarke?

Oh and I guess a really stupid Zak Jones hanging off the back of the pack?

Heeney needs to be a full time midfielder. Papley stinks as a midfielder. Mills might stink, he might not, but we have to try him because unless the midfield improves we're going nowhere.
