Watched the game last night.

Everyones still blowing Sydney saying Melbourne beat great side in Sydney on their home deck and Melbourne are back on track. Ignore the fact i think Sydney have dropped off the planet and are no way i finals quality side IMO

Their 4 games (even their Carlton win) have shown that they are just a mediocre football side this year and not the finals powerhouse team the media/commentators still think they are

Sydney look bottom 4 to me.There got problems all over the the ground .Even when game was still close in the last qtr.They looked a long way off winning.Buddy still carrying some type of leg injury.He looks really flat 4 games into the season.

Sydney are average at best. Kennedy and Parker are in decline, Papley and Florent haven’t develop like they want. Mills and Heeney probably aren’t the players they expect after 4 and 5 seasons respectively. Franklin is their only forward. Their back line is old and slow and Aliir Aliir is overrated when made accountable as a defender.

Sydney won’t make the 8.

Sydney are competitive enough but just struggle to score. Buddy is struggling. Papley is a good player, Heeney is good when he plays forward, but other than that the cupboard is pretty bare. So they play in tight, low scoring contests where they are sort of never out of it but don't actually have the quality and scoring power to take the win when the game is on the line. Remind you of any other teams?

Never said that they weren’t, just the Sydney probably need them a little more.

Remember they had to give up an exceptional player in Mitchell who is now a Brownlow Medalist because of (from memory) salary cap.

1 player doesn’t make a team, but Sydney are really missing that additional A-grader.

Just caught the end of C9 sports news and there was an interview with Viney who said they were really pleased with their aggressive approach in last night win against the Swans.

If he isnt getting a game at the dogs it says a fair bit about why we were happy to let him go. Love the guy but his fall from grace has been dramatic.
