For them, geez I'm a fan of Daniel. Constantly makes the right decision and stood in front of McKay at one point charging full tilt. Would be a great target.

We made the forwardline work but add Cuningham and a specialist small forward end of this year and it's probably over at 3/4 time.

Loved how Fisher in particular stepped up when Cripps and SPS slowed.

Yeh, Fish stood up in tne second half. Happy with Gibbons game. Is adjusting to the psce of the game now. He must feel he belongs at this level mow.

On top of those 2, don't mind if we keep Dow in, but i reckon swapping him for a fit Kennedy would improve us as well right now.

Dow doing some great things, but also some really poor things...as a second year mid no shame in sending him back to the VFL for a bit while the older Kennedy gets a run.

OUT: Polson, LOB, Dow
IN: Cuningham, Willo, Kennedy
Doubt we make 3 changes after winning by 40 points.

I entirely agree but I keep Dow. I love him so much and is our best burst runner but he MUST sort out his kicking. Will be the difference between being a solid player and elite player. I think overall his kicking was a bit better today but that dropped mark and then missed set shot was a shocking minute for him. If he can go at 70% kicking (because his handballing is excellent) he will be elite.

the best thing ever to happen on Easter Sunday (Carlton Win > Any Resurrection)

McKay was just ******* spectacular
Walsh is the best kid Ive seen debut since Judd (Possibly better, which is crazy )
SPS was just immense
Daisy worked his ass off
Gibbons was bananas (sorry)
Crippa <3
Kruez just makes a massive difference

I could go on and on. Just a great feeling. Have LOVED reading this thread <3

Awesome win. They looked the better team all game. I just hope they stay hungry.

With Charlie to come in next week and
maybe Williamson and Stocker in a week or two they could surprise a few teams over the next month.

My takeaways

- We forget what a difference Kreuzer makes, midfield goes up a notch with him there
- Gibbons playing where he should - as a 7th or 8th midfielder very very solid and hits the scoreboard
- Jack will grow into a handy, versatile footballer - leave him there
- Loved Fishers slipperiness in close, it’s been missing
- SPS jet
- Walsh just a regulation 26 like it’s become expected
- Nobody really stood out in the backline today, in a good way, this tells me it was an even performance, exactly what we want!
- Harry is a freak in his own right, rare agility for a 200cm +
- Cas enjoys not having to be the no. 1 target for the first time in his career - this will have positive flow on effects to the rest of the forward line

Just thinking we still have Curnow, Cunningham, Williamson, Docherty, Setterfield, Kennedy out of that side who are consensus best 22 around here - not to mention some of the others - this is immense!

Great win.

Fast movement, good switching. Smart entries I50. Did we just witness the penny drop?

SPS and HMac rightly getting their plaudits. I hope Charlie is getting concerned about his spot, it needs to drive him.

Above everything I love we kept our foot on their throat in the last once the game was won. Our boys need to learn to bury teams, not just fall over the line.

A great weekend for the club.

Shout out to the back 6 once again.

Stingy buggers only gave up 7 goals today.

Back six is rock *in solid … Cheers AMOS!!!! Simmo was immense. Jones was shithouse today because he only took one huge grab. Othert han that ….. his opponent was SILENT.

LIFT JONES!

They've been doing a great job all year.
It makes life easier for them when the fwds & mids do their part, like today :)

To all the Carlton haters .......

This one is for you!
