..........nothing would change.

There are no supercoach fixes.

Keep ignoring our lack of any high quality small forwards and keep playing top heavy forward lines and nothing will change. And nothing has changed - we've been uncompetitive at ground level I-50 against good sides for a long time. And it has actually unfairly made some of our tall forwards look slow.

So this isn't about quick fixes, this is about the club changing its attitude towards small forwards, playing a structure that allows us to crumb goals and stop getting killed off half back. We don't have anyone resembling anything like Walters or Ryan. That is not supercoach - that is pointing out one of our list failures.

It's all irrelevant mate.

"I am coaching a group that, as a whole, is the best character group I have ever coached. They are a fantastic group of men and I know they're going to make you proud in 2019."
"Some might say it's about proving people wrong, but really it's just about executing what we've been working on in the pre-season. And I know that if we can (do that), season 2019 looks fantastic for us."

A bit fatalistic don't you think? If/when Brad goes, the new coach is going to inherit this problem and have to fix it. It's going to be pretty relevant to him.

RE-alistic mate.

We feature at No 1 in Robbos Tackle Dislikes and questions how our non visible Ben Buckley needs to get out and sell the message because there is restlessness, that we are in a early season crisis and this week shapes up as a big game and the Blues game

No 2 Dislike is what to do with JZ

Yeah his kicking seemed more like the exception than the rule, generally pretty neat skills. He could genuinely work on the HBF, but do like him on the wing. Polec on the other side, with Bailey to chop out and Hall to roam across half forward or in the middle. Just a thought.

Actually surprised Hall hasn't been inside the centre square more, but probably a good reason.

Really like Frog, always know he will crack in every week.

Can't think of one myself.

I'm buying into this theory that we have inside and outside players and can't cross the streams and because of that Hall stays outside.

Yep, that does make sense. Whilst I get his reputation as a two way runner wasn't great at GC, I would absolutely l like to see him go in the centre more. Sink or swim. Not like we can perform much worse.

@Robbo_heraldsun dislikes in @theheraldsun begin with the hapless @NMFCOfficial

Is it time for the club’s Chairman Ben Buckley to spend more time in Melbourne.

Club power brokers have wondered lately why he is living in Sydney

Pretty hard to sell the message while he’s living in Sydney.

Just sat down and watched Renovation Australia, this episode was about the renovation of the Gasworks across the road from our oval. Showed some current footage of our guys training and some old footage from yesteryear at Arden Street.

Not a bad renovation job, but a few things I’d do differently.

I think the episode is replayed tomorrow.

The pod?

Robbo's piece.

DISLIKES
1. North Melbourne

COACH Brad Scott has called on fans to support the players. But who will support the coach? Chairman Ben Buckley, who rarely hits the hustings, might want to talk to the North Melbourne electorate this week because it is angry. The players are accused of embarrassing the jumper, the club is said to have no playing identity, and the fans are asking questions of the coach. It adds up to an early-season crisis at the Kangas. They can get out of it by starting with consistent effort and then winning games. If that doesn’t happen it will become a full-blown crisis. A game always comes along that is defining — if it’s not next week against Port Adelaide, it’s definitely the week after against Carlton.

2. What to do with Ziebell?

JACK Ziebell was solid the week before but disappointing on Friday as commentators wondered why he wasn’t deployed in the midfield. If Jed Anderson, Jared Polec, Aaron Hall and Shaun Higgins couldn’t catch the zippy Bombers, Ziebell had little hope. Maybe his aggression could have helped. His ability to find the ball certainly would have. His six possessions playing forward were his fewest in a full match since Round 18, 2014. I think forward is his go, as his lack of pace might be exposed in the middle, and it hasn’t worked when he has been tried in the back half.

An absolutely shambolic renovation and the owners/achitects should be ****ing shot!

All that building needed was a periodic restoration and it should of been heritage listed long ago.

The best part was listening to the twats wax lyrical over their bits and pieces dump with a stupid looking grey curtain hanging from the ceiling.

What's the world coming to? FFS!

I didn’t think it was that bad, the ground floor was a little more “traditional” and looked pretty good, but the pod was a disaster. The metallic curtin covering the pod did provided an interesting texture but it looked terrible how it was used.

A building like that deserves only to be refurbished to it's original glory imo.

The cretins took a chunk of the floor out(100 year old hardwood), destroyed a section of lath & plaster Inc. Rose for the arse ugly pod and put the living room in the basement lol They couldn't even look out of the ****ing windows! Lol

It looked to be a mish mash of shit they found at 2nd hand reno store with rooms fragmenting off one another. You got to see people's ankles from the basement windows in the living area...

It's the type of place their 'friends' would roll up too and then laugh their **** off to in the car on the way home.

"WTF were they thinking!"
