Will be good to have Villa back in the Premier League. A big club that should be there.
Bit presumptuous. Leeds would be the best shout in the play offs I'd think.

I meant would* as opposed to will. Have edited my post.

All good didn't mean to nitpick, thought you were just supremely confident haha. Did look good early kick off though.

Loving being back at the kcom despite the score. Great seats!

Sorry Leeds fans..

Villa make it a club record 10 consecutive wins with a 1-0 win against the troglodytes securing a play-off spot in the process. Derby currently in a stalemate with QPR and Boro are down 1-0 to Forest. Let's go Rams!

Norwich are starting to slip, 4 consecutive draws now with the title wide open. The run home:

Norwich
Blackburn (h)
Villa (a)

Blades
Ipswich (h)
Stoke (a)

Leeds
Brentford (a)
Villa (h)
Ipswich (a)

Win or bust for Leeds against Brentford, lose that and you'd have to think the top 2 is sealed and them destined for play-offs. Win, and it's all up for grabs.

Derby
Bristol (a)
Swansea (a)
West Brom (h)

Middlesbrough
Reading (h)
Rotherham (a)

Bristol
Derby (h)
Milwall (a)
Hull (a)

Derby and Bristol have an extra game in hand but their meeting could very well decide who finishes 6th. Boro have two games they SHOULD win but anything can happen in this league.

Rotherham have West Brom and Boro to finish off so it's an uphill battle for them to stay up, especially with Milwall having an extra game in hand.

You’d think Villa would be the ones in supreme confidence heading into the play offs. Doesn’t always work out that they’d win them but they would be favourites.

I’m watching Leeds right now and they look a shadow of their former selves. It looks like the play offs for them right now and they are going to have to really sort themselves out for them

Pub here is rocking. Fantastic game!

Technically not just yet - we still need one more point to prevent the possibility of Leeds knocking 10 past Ipswich on the last day.
Should be able to get a point against Blackburn to avoid that even happening. I reckon our team with a couple more signings could do some damage next season. Best Norwich team we've had for a while.

Shattered it's all over now, Villa are going to bolt it in the playoffs.

But really, as Leeds fans, is anyone honestly surprised this happened ? We are the most cursed/miserable football club in the world. Really hurt seeing Pablo crying after the game. 😢😢😢😢

Wigan safe. Brilliant turnaround.

Great to see the Latics turn it around, always enjoyed their giant-killing antics from a few years ago. Battered us and deserved the win and very glad to see you back it up against Leeds :thumbsu:

Bet the Liverpool fans wish you were still running around in the Prem so someone could ruin Man City's season again.

The way we're going, Ipswich will be going down with a win.

Ipswich have been dead men walking since about October, I can't see them giving much of anything tbh. Assuming results go as expected this weekend it could be a blessing in that Bielsa will have a couple of weeks to refresh the players before the play-offs, as opposed to blowing it on the last day and having to back up straight away.

I am hoping that's the case, because my faith is pretty low right now. It's taken a pounding this weekend.

Can't quite believe we've gone on a 10-game winning streak.

Beside myself. Have been watching Villa for so many years and have never seen anything quite like this. The confidence the players have and the leadership being shown on the pitch is first class.

Now that playoffs are locked in we need to rest a few weary players and get the likes of Elphick, Hause, Tuanzebe, and Tammy back fit and firing for the real stuff in a few weeks.
