Assuming there were no obstacles, would you prefer the PB/Pylon guernsey to be our home colours?

So we're off to a pretty good start. Lots of positive feedback at the pre game function re the campaign and plenty who didn't even know about it still.

Anyone here know or affiliated with The Alberton Crowd?

We'd love to get them behind this but hard to know who the best person to speak to is.

It should be our choice.

My choice would be: Showdowns, Anzac Day, and ALL finals.

May as well just wear it as the primary jumper then. I'm all for that.

I'm thinking a lot about how to spread the word. Somehow what needs to be understood by the masses is that wearing the jumper is the final solution. It means no further tiresome battles. If I was a former player that busted my body for this club I would want that jumper worn but many supporters can't put themselves in the shoes of those past players.

It's the psychology of the people that has to be tapped into to get them stirred to support it.

What has been decided about encouraging this to be continued for every home game?
As I have said a few times, I was unwell yesterday, but would love the chance to participate in the events that were held yesterday at future home games.

Even from home yesterday the game had a different vibe. People were expecting 30k there, I think we had 37k.
The crowd was loud, none of that MCG twaddle. That vibe fills seats. I was so happy last night, not just with what happened on the field, but what was happening in the stands. You lot were magnificent. I want to be a part of that next weekend.

Yes, it's should grow as each week goes by. The club is probably hoping it's one and done, as they have been pretty useless on this issue, but the fans should continue to grow it.

I'd prefer to wear it vs the traditional VFL clubs, to show that we have a heritage as long and rich as them. I don't think the franchise down the road deserves that level of recognition.

I’d wear it against Geelong & Freo when we play them at home and away.

“We don’t want to wear it beyond two Showdowns (in any season). That would be the absolute maximum."

Not good enough - **** off Rucci, and **** off KKK

That’s absolutely not what we want, the week pricks. Yea just accept wearing it in games that to date have never been Friday night or prime time.

Our new and permanent home guernsey should be the absolute minimum.

But isn’t any publicity good publicity?

Sure it’s not exactly what we want, but it’s a step in the right direction.

Yep.

Plus I think we played them both prior to 1997 wearing the PBs.

I went to a pre-season Dockers vs PAFC game at Fremantle Oval the year before we entered the AFL. We ended up losing by 2 or 3 goals but gave a good account of ourselves. Definitely played in the PBs and no sign of teal. David Hynes and Clive Waterhouse were playing for Freo, so that must have felt strange for them.

Koch:

“We signed a legally binding agreement before my time that we have to get Collingwood ‘s permission to wear the prison bars.
We’re very happy with our current guernsey and it’s not on the table to wear the prison bars as our permanent AFL guernsey.
We would love to wear it in showdowns if we can, but it’s all up to Collingwood”

I really hope when he drives home after work he sees his best mate pulling out of the driveway and his wife rushing the sheets into the washing machine.

Where and when did He come out with this claptrap?

Koch has no idea what constitutes a contract in either form or content as he proved with his dumb spat with Cochrane over a different jumper design issue.

It’s ‘all up to’ you, Koch, not Collingwood. It’s your job to pull this off for Port Adelaide - you and your mate Cardone, Eddie’s mole on our Board, on your board.

How fake are you going to look if you don’t ?

God I detest this charlatan.

Tell us more Kochy who what when where . Make some faaeking noise

How about the infered contract 're beating them three times.

I am no Dennis Denuto but would think that agreement might be limiting our ability to trade to our full poential or be against the vibe or the constitution or mabo or something.

Hell we agreed to being repeatly smacked unconscious and asking for more at the swamplands so agreements can and do change particularily when people can see they need too - hey that's your job.

Concur.

Koch is publicly and volubly lying down in front of this limitation on our ability to trade in our brand to the fullest capacity, while at the same time not bothering to even consider arguing such factors as onerous clauses and statute of limitations (now 30 years if dated 1990) in addition to a blatant moral conflict of interest involving McGuire’s CEO.

chiwigi no doubt you have legal counsel in position. No need to reply here, mate.

BTW, if this agreement Koch is championing on McGuire’s behalf does indeed date from 1990, there is no agreement to start with.

The first thing he can do is produce a copy and show the date. But it would take a genuine club chairman to have the testosterone to do something like that.

If Kochie did indeed say that I am half tempted to become a twit and tweet accordingly along the lines of what you talking bout Willis ain't that what we got you for yo cockbiscuit.

( and then get blocked and never tweet again)

Either this ‘contract’ is so messed up that club are scared to show it,
Or
There’s no contract.

If it’s A, then expose it and fight it.
If it’s B, then...
