Loved it too even though the only thing that got thrown around was Lochie. :D:D

Yeah, I loved it too. LOB trying to throw whatever weight he has to back Bam Bam, and then big Cas coming in to get LOB's back. This chain was great to see. A big difference from the disheartening lack of any chain a few weeks ago - in the North game for instance.

I was pretty sceptical about axing Bolts when we did. I didn't feel comfortable that we weren't behaving like the Carlton of old and shooting ourselves in the foot by going about it that way. I'm beginning to come around to the idea that it probably should have happened. I think Teague is a keeper for the top job. IMO He's getting a good uplift in performance from the boys whilst honouring the good groundwork laid by Bolts. Most importantly, he has shown that he's a dynamic game-day strategist. This has such a positive compounding effect on ALL of Carlton's stakeholders which I love.

....and I think Teague has learnt his lesson about dropping JSOS last game. Regular stats are not the be-all and end-all.

Oh stop being so grumpy frumpy. Find me another first year player with the ability Sam has to accumulate. How did Andrew Brayshaw go today? Wait he's a second year player... If it was easy to notch up 30 garbage disposals then everyone would do it.

Yes, Sam's disposal was off today. He still busted a gut in a famous win. Enjoy it for #### sake!
Just my opinion on his game today, woeful disposal. I don't care about Brayshaw or the fact it's Walsh's first year. Comments all based around this game only. Today was one of his worst games. If dow did what he did today with his disposal the knives would be out.

Nope Serge wasn't nimble. He was a tough uncompromising ruck rover with a huge bum that could never moved off the line of the ball.
You forgot tree trunk thighs.
Those things were huge!

I agree Jsos is a little serge and will make an impact on the middle.

Hopefully Bsos is more like dad.

The hard thing with the SOS boys is growing up watching their Dad play, he was the best player I've ever seen. It would be unfair for me to compare the boys to him as the measuring stick because the standard is so high.
If we get solid contribution towards our next flag from them, I'll be happy the Silvagni name has carried on at Carlton

Ed ******* Curnow tyvm. 3 votes to the skip.
Yep, and in the interview after the game he paid tribute to Bolts once again for the work he put in.

Mister Ed is one classy Bluebagger.

I admit to writing off Casboult earlier in the season, but the 2019 version of Casboult is something we haven't seen before.

His consistency, hardness and composure has been remarkable this year since they moved him back. It's like the penny dropped and he finally realised he just needs to compete to have an impact.

His strength to get the ball out to Fisher in the final seconds was pivotal to the win. Good on ya big fella!

I guess I'm not ready to jump on his bandwagon yet. Obviously most ppl disagree with me. But I'm still not convinced. But that's cool it would be boring if we all agreed with each other. The only constant in these threads is our luv for the blues.

It might be best to start by considering how good a player brad hill is and how little impact that he had on the game. Its not that he is anywhere near the finished product yet but more that he appears to be flourishing in roles that he has no right to.
