Always found it weird that clubs circle in these instances. Surely a direct approach would work better.

Once at a bluelight disco I threw a packet of Samboy chips at a girl to express my interest in a slow dance and potentially some light petting...didn't work.

All this talk of us spending massive money to get Coniglio, we only have to better their possible offer and what is the most GWS could offer him? I doubt it would be near $1M. 700-900K maybe which is probably a fair bit more than he is on still.

My gut feel is Coniglio will probably leave and for good money but probably not over a million as speculated. All the potential suitors will be contemplating not spending huge dollars, clubs know this is not how you end up with a premiership.

I think he will look around all the clubs offering good money and contract length and end up at the most appealing one.

SOS didn't meet with him for a casual chat, I'm sure we're up to our necks. I'm sure we're going to have plenty of competition coming from other clubs, we just have to hope that when he does a walkthrough and meets the people at our club that we impress him enough.
