I wonder what Levi believes has made the difference with his form this year. Is it Russell? If so, Levi might not want to leave. Is it Teague? Levi was already doing well in defence under Bolton but I think he only switched back to the forward line under Teague. Point is there might be factors other than money or loyalty which might make him want to stay.

The thing about Cas is he pretty much makes Goddard and Kerr redundant yet they both have shown enough to keep their spots. If Kerr stays it should be on the Rookie list, probably with Phillips and have Gibbo taking one of their spots on the main list. Goddard stays on as a rookie. Personally I can’t see us going to the rookie draft this season. Lang is another one who if we do pick up 2 players should probably be rookied at best as he soon becomes our ~30th player.
Personally Id bite the bullet and delist at least one so we can have a dip at the rookies to unearth someone.

We know what we have with Kerr. Great family but he's never going to be in our best 22. Give him a chance somewhere else.

I think he's also just in a better headspace with his goalkicking and that cool head has just made him a more fluid player.

The lazy commentary still gives him shit every time he has a set shot. The bloke is actually one of the BEST in the league of any key forwards at set shots.

Testament to how hard hes worked. The only knock is his tackle pressure but even that is decent now.

Think Zac Williams would be very hard to pry out of GWS.

Im not so sure.

He is a FA at the end of 2020

Giants have Cogs as a FA this year, Kelly just re-signed, Hopper just res-signed, Himmel just re-signed and Tomlinson a FA too.

in 2020, Cameron is a FA, Patton FA, Whitfield is a FA.

I just look at it and think, Cogs will stay, Cameron and Whitfield will be the top priorities, which leaves Williams as being underpaid.

Put $$$$ values to Kelly, Cogs, Cameron, Greene, Whitfield, Taranto, Ward, Davis. Im a big fan of Williams and i wonder if GWS could be tempted by an offer this year.

Wow HO you've got an encyclopedic knowledge of 70's World Championship Wrestling.I was addicted to this and Epic Theatre before I discovered more fun things.
Sunday was was a Auto pilot,
  1. Compulsory Greek Church in the morning (to avoid top spin backhanders from the old man).
  2. then it was back home where he and his mates would come back and painfully endure 15 minutes of Point of View hosted by a bald guy awaiting the wrestling at 12 noon
  3. . One hour of anguish as the bad guys always cheated and inevitably won against the clean skin ethnics (I loved the bad guys winning as I was got a free education in every Greek swear word known to man).
  4. then they would come to life again watching Epic theatre. It didn't matter if the movie was based on Roman, Babylonian, Greek etc. as long as they wore a helmet and a Toga, to them they were all Greeks. this will then send them off on a rave about the heroic Greeks BC. Fun times.

Balding guy, was Bob Santamaria, he was a mad Carlton Supporter and you’d see him in the outer at Princes Park on Saturday afternoons.

I don't see your point, we also gave a pre listed Mcadam who was rated as a third rounder. So we could have done the deal with the Swans.

The point was that we didn’t lose pick 11 to take McGovern. We traded picks 26 + 28 for him. And the Crows had to throw in pick 40 to get 13 from the Swans.

We got a 3rd round pick for McAdam.

Epic theatre!! Along with Variety Italian Style, was a 'must watch on a Sunday at our joint.

Richo has actually been coaching since the late 90s,he isn't inexperienced.
He has also been a director of coaching already at Port.

I don't think Teague would need a DOC but would like to see us appoint an experienced senior assistant.

Seriously? He did his apprenticeship with us in the Ratten era didn't he? WTF would you have him as Director without ever coaching an AFL club (until Saints)?

Thats fine, my point was, we could have got the pick 13 and drafted for need or best available from a strong draft, yet we chose to recruit a medium/tall forward who averages 7 possessions a game and has question marks over commitment and professionalism in a position/area of the ground we have a lot of cover.

McGovern will be a gun for us.

If we traded for #13, we miss out on Setterfield.

Setters was a totally separate trade.

If we didn't do the Gov trade, we could have traded for 13, easily could have used the Mcadam pick, its irrelevant now.

We will see on Gov, With him and Charlie fit, who comes out? I think our run of form is a lot to do with forward pressure, being able to lock the bal in F50, being more mobile and fast.

I think there is room for Charlie, Gov and Harry but that then cancels out SOS, Kennedy, both of which seem to care and put in more although have less talent.

Perhaps the club didn't think SOS or Kennedy would come on, the decision is a bit off for me, his first year has been a disaster. so may other areas of need we could have addressed.
